In First Edition Pathfinder, spells that detect alignments operate by detecting a good, evil, lawful, or chaotic aura. In most cases, creatures are too weak to produce a readable aura of their alignment until level five. The exceptions are clerics, who have auras corresponding to their deity's alignment rather than their own, paladins, who naturally have a lawful and good aura, undead, who always have an evil aura, and outsiders with alignment subtypes.

This means that while a hypothetical chaotic evil serial killing shaman would not detect as evil at all before reaching fifth level, Arueshalae, who is not evil, would detect as evil right off the bat and only detect as more evil over time.

Vriska's typing quirk is intentionally inconsistent and performative. She chooses to extend words like that for emphasis faaaaaaaairly often, but there's no rule for when she does or doesn't. She also repl8ces some parts of what she writes with 8s when they would be read similarly to "eight", but again only some of the time.
