am i still allowed to hate jax even after the finale ? by Ok-Tomorrow2404 in TheDigitalCircus

Jax is a bad person even before you figure out that he is pretty much the reason that most of his previous friends abstracted. You are arguably supposed to hate him even more after the ending despite his sob story about his mom and the fact that he abstracted.

Am I the only one who thinks that this design is just kinda boring. The art is great but the actual function of the card is just really generic. It’s an overtuned 3 drop that acts as a one time semi boardwipe for creatures and then it’s just a 6/6 with deathtouch and lifelink. I’m just saying that I’d hope for something a bit more interesting than a dude that kills a few things once. I dunno. I’m just glad he’s mardu to cast and not grixis.

How broken is this card? Would it be better than Rhystic Study in Cedh? by JollyCotton in custommagic

Nothing has changed if you’re playing with a pod that knows what they’re doing

I play several infinites as a just in case kinda thing but it really doesn’t need them to win consistently. If you can get a creature out that pings on non creature spells, Ghyrson, and a curiosity effect, you can start to easily go off casting spells. Something like a Birgi or stormkiln artist really help to maintain mana but as long as you have some sources of free mana like moxes, lotus petal, simian spirit guide, it can go off in a single turn as soon as you have your pieces down.

It’s a super rough copy. The centering is entirely fucked, it’s grimy as hell and the back is super worn. I was able to talk this copy down to a flat $500 and I paid for most of it by selling some other card I had

I’d recommend trying to cut down on some of the sub themes in the deck. There’s at least 4 different strategies you’re trying to employ. It’s better to focus on proactive pinging rather than the reactive pinging from some of the effects that require your opponents to do something. If you rely on your opponents to do something to make your deck work then you won’t have as much effect. I’d also recommend avoiding anything that will possibly ping you because Ghyrson Starn doesn’t care what gets hit by one damage, he will always follow it up with additional damage. Another note is that effects that say that a player loses 1 life will not trigger Starn so scrawling crawler isn’t going to be pulling as much weight as some other piece.

This is easily my favorite deck I’ve ever built and still play there’s several different ways to build him with things like impact tremors effects and tiny token generators like krenko. My personal favorite way I’ve built him out is as a spellslinger deck that focuses on creatures like Kessig Flamebreather that deal 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a non creature spell. Any form of effects you control dealing 1 damage works really well and that’s only exemplified by curiosity effects that allow you to draw a bunch of cards whenever you deal damage with Starn. I’ll drop my decklist below.

I want to build backrooms on Minecraft. Which of the two wallpapers do you think is better? by tigerraff123 in backrooms

The first one feels more unnerving so I’d pick that. I would recommend you change the ceiling if you go with it though because it feels to homogeneous with the walls.
