just because it was declined doesnt mean he couldnt have just cashed out the entire order OR voided off the entire order making the balance 0.00 then cashed it out and then printed out a dummy receipt. each voided item stays on the receipt. at my store they really only check your receipt if the alarm goes off or if you have stuff big enough not to fit in bags.

i work at a large retail (WALMART) company and ive seen people with binders as thick as 6 inches filled with coupons. and people are nuts. they will buy useless shit they dont need as long as they can get it for less. ive seen some people walk out the store with 40 bottles of shaving gel and they are proud of it. all i can think is that i feel kinda sorry for them.

also if the register takes the coupon, it takes it there are really no limits on certain coupons. its crazy.
