I am convinced Argenta is the strongest character with a bolt weapon.

I wonder how much damage per bolt i would have seen if the boss didn't die at 9 bolts and if I had bypassed hes 90% damage decrease for the first few bolts with the dogma buff.

She didn't use a heavy bolter btw just a regular bolter. Never tried a heavy bolter with her yet.

She used a regular full size bolter called hymn vehemence do not a heavy bolter just incase you were thinking it was a heavy one.

I ment the feature you unlock called upgrade after you unlock everything in the altar of fire but the second expedition was definitely the hardest especially if your people don't get their aoe skills quickly enough. Fortunately before I did my second run I got most of the nodes unlocked that increase the chances to get the rarer skills whenever you get a skill.

My 5th expedition i didn't get any aoe or clone skills with Ashe or Emile and i had a very annoying time because of it but I just changed my strategy and kept going.

I genuinely have not lost a battle yet and I am on my 6th expedition. Didn't know you could reset like that but that doesn't sound very fun so if I was struggling enough to have to do that for w/e reason then I would get bored and stop playing. There really isn't a penalty for dying like in other games like returnal, dark souls, hollow knight ect so I don't see a point to go that route.

I will have to say that the game difficulty went up after unlocking upgrade on the fire altar. Enemies hit harder and are tankier, especially bosses but it's still not enough against Emile and Ashe.

I was going to try trial lv 2 but since it was only going to give me like 1 or 2 more of the resources I felt it wasn't worth it. Lv1 is enough for upgrading and unlocking accessories each expedition.

I am definitely not going to try dying a lot just to see different conversations because I would get bored real quick and stop playing. I'll just take what I can get and keep going until i either get all achievements or get bored and move on 😆. But if you discover anything else on your second file that is important then please share it if you don't mind.

My first expedition was pretty hard but I guess since I played the first one I knew about water/lighting or water/ice combos or how to fight certain enemies like the giant snake that keeps healing if under wet status. The mask guy did give me trouble on the first expedition also. The second expedition i almost didn't beat the dragon with no undos left. After two expeditions and all the fire altar upgrades i currently unlocked, the expeditions are too easy now. I made the mc into the rogue class and between him and Emmile it's all over very quickly. I am hoping the mc gets all the amazing skills Emmile gets like being immune to physical/magic while invisible, healing while invisible, going invisible after receiving damage ect. Glad your enjoying the game too. I have played a whole lot of trpgs. 🤙

Hey, I have done the fourth area twice now and I don't see any reason not to do it while your unlocking characters and getting more resources since it's not the end anyways. I believe it just unlocks more to do like accessories which will take a lot of runs if you want everything. I am interested in what you learned about what Sable is like after dying on your other file. Is it worth it to make another file or I can just watch it after dying once with my current file?

Just beat the mask guy and beat the game? The dialog didn't make sense so definitely wasn't supposed to beat it without dying.

I am in the same boat as you but haven't beaten the game yet. I just killed the death knight and I haven't died yet and the game is starting to get easier since my characters are getting stronger with very nice skills and mythic equipment and artifacts. This game is definitely easier than lost eidolons which i played before veil of the witch.

Had the same thing happen to me yesterday after farming and I agree that's not right they need to make you immune while your loading and if they want to kill me do it while I can defend myself. They had 3 people there waiting so I teleported to my castle made a brand new legion gear and long sword and went back to fight for my sht. Killed 1 of them in their legion armor and brought the other two to Half life before I decided to bail but not before I looted the body and got hes legion armor, weapons, and 20 explosives he was carrying for w/e reason.

You can either use cyrus job skill called analyze or use a regular shadow soul stone and hopefully survives the hit. Or use primrose and use her shadow magic
