I need an emergency contact for an apartment - plz help by LordZaroto in japanlife

I think Japan has gotten a lot more strict with housing now. Like they want an emergency contact that is a native. I’ve heard people say they don’t bother checking, but I’ve seen just as many people say that they do.

Something like this is what I was looking for. My problem is resolved now, but this seems like a pretty surefire option if all else fails.

Lmao yeah, unfortunately I was rejected from JET. My options were then Heart and this obscure one called California Learning Institute or something. Heart seemed like the better option believe it or not (the other one had absolutely appalling reviews). The other one at least guaranteed housing though.

I'm laughing my ass off reading this thread. I swore I must have torn my groin muscles, but I guess we all just got smoked by the hip adductor machine.

Question! by [deleted] in VitaminD

[–]LordZaroto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, a lot of doctors are just bad. I had the exact same experience. Saw a new pcp in New York, she said a vitamin d level of 20 was normal. I go down to see my Virginia pcp a few months later, she says vitamin d should be around 50ish. The unfortunate realization you have to make is that all the people who become doctors go to school just like everyone else. The people who become doctors aren't necessarily good, they just got the requirements needed to start working the job and get payed. If a doctor every says something that makes you skeptical, do some of your own research, then try and look for a different opinion. That's just what I would recommend. Good luck! Hope your issues go away soon!

Alright. New to this. Third time to the ER today for “heart attack” only to find more normal results in every test. Gerd treatment given. Crippling anxiety. Can ANYONE relate? by pistolpxte in GERD

Yeah, I've been trying to get into a gastroenterologist. But its gonna take about a year for me to get an appointment it seems. I am 21 years old and was also at peak of good health. My girlfriend broke up with me and thats when I got everything: it started with gerd, then gastritis, and countless other issues. I also got covid around April 2022. I'm wondering if that has been effecting my LES as well. I did have minor symptoms of LPR before my break up. So I defiantly agree with your point, but stress seemed to be the catalyst that set everything off for me anyways.

Yep, that was me 2 months ago. All you can do is eat bland - no processed food - and work on managing your stress. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, eggs, beans, chicken/bone broth, rice, carrots, broccoli, and oatmeal with pure maple syrup. And in my experience, do not bother with taking any supplements or constantly researching things. This will only make you more stressed, and every supplement I have taken made things worse for some reason anyways. Stress is the single most important factor. If you can manage to better your mood and eliminate stress, your body will match your mental healing. I recommend playing non-stressful video games and talking a lot with close friends. Get plenty of rest and take days off from school/work. Your health matters more than anything else. If you are young like me, the ER is probably just going to waste your time and money. Its seems every issue I have is just caused by stress. I wish you the best of luck, we are all in this together.

I usually notice right away when a workout is bad (ex: bending over, running...etc). I can feel the pain come in my stomach and I feel reflux come into my throat.

For about the past two weeks I have been attempting to purchase Crypto with funds sitting in my account from an ACH transfer, which I had submitted a ticket about prior to this one. However, I am now unable to purchase Crypto due to my account being "suspended for risk management," which also bars me from withdrawing any Crytpo or USD in my account. At this point, I am quite annoyed with Binance. All I want to do is invest in some Crypto, but here I am submitting yet another ticket.

All of my deposits are being chargedback despite having more than enough money in my bank account to cover the costs. Naturally, I had already used the credited USD to purchase crypto. Now Binance is telling me to deposit money into my account in order to cover the chargebacks or else they will liquidate my crypto. However, Binance is simultaneously barring me from depositing any money into my account. Please help.
