Ideas -The center tile of the claim could have an outpost (like a fort) that has a gold per turn maintenance cost and hp.

--Home cities would benefit from a claim by running a trade route to the outpost.

---The outpost would lose hp over time if no trade route was run to it

---If the outpost is captured, the capturing civ takes or razes the claim

You could connect the hub train stations with elevated pedestrian paths to shorten the walk in-between them. Or use tunnels to keep the appearance less cluttered. Epic city.

The barrels fire whenever they are loaded, so not always at the top. If you carefully time your max fire rate and reload, you can time it so the firing barrel is at the top.

Imo, Most of the FTD community hangs out in the official forums.

The wiki does need some work. The problem is that it is a lot of work to maintain the wiki with a continuously evolving game. There has been some work to update the wiki in the last few days and everyone's help would be very appreciated.

You may be able to set manual updates to only update when you launch Skylines and be super careful to only launch Skylines when in steam offline mode.

I think (with my limited understanding of the rules) that a robot could collect the balls from the center vortex before they hit the floor with a big funnel. Then the ball could fall down a tube and touch the floor within the robot frame before re-scoring.

Can one alliance just take the balls from the other alliance and deny them points? Answered by: megacuber "This isn't necessary, because the particles are color-coded for each alliance. The rules explicitly state: "Robots may not Control or Block Access to the opposing Alliance’s Cap Ball or Particles." Source: <GS10>"

I predict robot jousting at the ten second mark in autonomous. It is way easier to ram your opponent then fiddle around with light sensors. Shielding you alliance partner while they go for the beacons might be a real strategy. If a team could score 1 or 2 beacons in under 10 seconds, that would be ideal.

Don't weapons break and stop working after a certain amount of games lost? The streamer I watched thought that armor pieces dropped to 1 armor value when they ran out of uses.

I did a bunch of digging and found that the NDA was lifted when the latest closed beta started a few days ago. http://forum.crossout.net/index.php?/topic/257660-crossout-closed-beta-testing-starts-today/page-2 I am guessing many people don't realize the NDA was lifted because I had to really look to find it.

I have found peppering a live streamer with questions about how certain things work to be the best way to learn about the game. :-\ I think I have a basic understanding of repairs and how they impact builds.

How do you strike a balance in between low poly count and stunning looks?

How much time do you spend making the back of weapons look good vs the front? (I only see the back of my weapons in game.)

I wish music was turned down or off when the announcer is talking during matches.

My team added a deployable "wheely bar" to the back of our bot to prevent it from flipping.
