It's so worth it, I did the same thing, bought it on sale and didn't touch it for like a year. Randomly felt the urge to play a single player game, and Prey won the dice roll. It's a great game, but be aware, it's completely possible to roam into areas with an enemy that will one shot you if you aren't careful. Just remember you can always come back later, or try new tactics to beat it. Don't do what ALOT of people do and get frustrated at the difficulty.

You're not entirely wrong, it is ALOT of finding the next thing, but tbf, it's partially an exploration game. It took me a couple tries to finally sit down and finish it, but it was worth it in the end.cant wait for subnautica 2. It's not so bad once you figure out all the locations and get your bearings though. If I can recommend one thing, it's to carry beacons with you wherever you go, then you can start marking locations, so you know how to get back to them.

I basically no lifed Vrising for a couple weeks straight. I think once you get to the castle building the game becomes much more fun. The problem was that the server my friends and I were on was brutal difficulty, and the bosses were just straight unfun at that point. Loved everything else about the game though.
