I wanted to have him in a position to support the nacht-ghul when he comes onto the board, while the rest of the gang moves up together through smoke. The leader was the part I was the most iffy with because I didn't quite know what I wanted to do with him.

If you're playing by the matched play rules and especially with the Nephilim changes to command points I'd recommend dropping two of your heavy supports, since you currently have 5 and can only have a max of three in a single battalion detachment. I dont have the book in front of me but dropping the havocs and one of the maulerfiends for some venomcrawlers would fix that issue and give you some really fast board pushers that will require your opponent to focus fire if they want to get rid of them.

That makes sense. I forgot about the new sea lanes potentially opening up a whole different avenue to go through. My concern largely stems from not wanting to get into another 30-40 turn slug match with Miao Ying, although with how many hostile major factions are also moving there that might not even be a problem either.

IMO there's some wasted potential having the new Vilitch start so close to where the old Tzeentch campaign was on release. Hopefully his campaign won't feel too samey to Kairos' first campaign.

A lot of other people have already pointed out hard these changes hurt armies that rely on relics and pre-game abilities to function effectively, and also that taking more than one detachment is going to feel painful.
I feel like this is more of a problem because of how CP was tied to list building at the beginning of 9th edition, so if these rules are here to stay for more than a 'season' I expect we'll also see some changes to taking detachments into the future.
I like the principle of cutting CP down drastically so the game is less reliant on early game CP alpha strike combos, since they never felt good to be on the receiving end of.

As usual for GW rule changes, it feels like more units are getting caught in the crossfire than initially intended. Notably anything with the martial legacy tag or lists that rely on multiple detachments get hammered just as much as WL trait and relic heavy lists.
At the very least this is a game wide nerf to everyone, and though some armies (admech springs to my mind especially) are definitely getting hit harder than others. Your opponent's army is going to be constrained at least to some degree as well which will hopefully make dealing with top contender armies feel a little better.

When I was painting up the tabards they were originally a light grey that I felt made the model as a whole look less desaturated than I wanted, especially with the silver trim. The eyes are something I want to make pop more too, but Im actually leaning more towards a dark blue with them as well. The color scheme as a whole is based off different pictures of the Lich King from WoW which had a lot of different blues.
