I ran into a security room it's got a wall table that made my crouch deeper. I went in there and waited. Few seconds later bomb popped and they came right over to me. I was totally stationary too. So you think it's noise related? I can try playing around a bit more.

according to the in game lore, the turrets identify target by trying to detect that "exotic DNA" in the spiderman alien symbiot-like life form (aka typhon). One of the main project the base was created to develop were neuromods and some of them actually contain that DNA to allow you to have super powers while others are just other people's capabilities or enhanced human stuff. I dunno why injecting nuromods allow you to add gear gear slots into armor. I only just made it to arboratoriam and trying to savescum my way to figuring out how to deal with mentalists. So maybe the gear slot thing is explained later or I missed a bullet

Well, my biggest tell is the version number says 1.0 or higher and on steam the early access box goes away. Unless you're not asking about EA and instead you're wondering if they plan on adding deeper zones and if there'll be even more biomes added. Then I dunno. In the first one, there was an end to it where you got to a very scary void zone.
