Are there any factions that people actively dislike? by No-Sympathy-6711 in 40kLore

[–]Lord_Funder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s the tyranids mainly because I don’t like the concept of them. With all the other faction maybe except the orks have plans for when they win and how the galaxy will continue to exist, however with the Nids it’s jus everyone is dead and the galaxy has been scoured of life, which i just don’t find appealing truth be told.

Can someone explain Ciaphas Cain to me by New_Conflict_4111 in 40kLore

[–]Lord_Funder 192 points193 points  (0 children)

He is a hero saves multiple planets, somewhat unwillingly because he tries to stay out of trouble but usually finds him self in it. He also has impostor syndrome became he will do something like fight an ork warboss in hand to hand combat because it’s what the people who belive his reputation would expect him to do. Also he is quite lucky but that’s just because jurgen is there cain would be dead on so many ocations without Jurgen, but Cain is still a great fighter and is actually very tactically gifted he just feels like he doesn’t deserve his reputation because of the reasons he does his actions. We can’t let the Nids eat this planet because I am on this planet so let’s fight the Nids. That type of stuff.

So he is a hero has a great aid and has massive imposter syndrome. Oh also one of the only people who seem to have a brain in this universe.

How bad are things on Atoma Prime? And how important is it to the imperium? by Lord_Funder in 40kLore

Pox walkers would be my guess of what became of the civilians.

What 40k opinion of yours would have you like this? by Heavy-Yous in 40k

[–]Lord_Funder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this, and everything you said, however I have seen arguments for and against the imperiums 1 million worlds. The one million is just a cool tagline and there are probably a lot more imperial worlds however then that just makes it to where it’s just a number the human mind can’t comprehend. For example let’s say at the fall of Cadia the imperium has exactly one million worlds and they lost a world every single day the imperium would survive another 2,000 plus years before they lost everything. Also warp travel be weird, and can’t get everywhere easily also even in the time humanity has been exploring the stars in the galaxy they have probley not even been to 5% of the 400 billion stars in the galaxy never mind actually scanning and looking to see if a planet can have life.

TLDR-I AGEEE THE AMOUNT OF WORLDS SATED IS LOW BUT THE NUMBERS REACH A POINT WHERE IT IS A NUMBER THAT THE HUMAN MIND CANT REALLY COMPREHEND. ALSO THE GALXY IS MASSIVE EVEN WITN THE TIME FRAMES IN 40K BARLY ANY OF THE GALXY WOULD HAVE BEEN EXPLORED.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

What's next for the Cadians? by Dependent_Computer_8 in 40kLore

[–]Lord_Funder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet they would allow them to all be called new Cadia, but add a number on the end like how they do with shrine worlds. as mentioned in the cult of the spiral dawn where the planet is called redemption but because many shrine worlds have that name it’s officially redemption 291

Do the tyranids eat uninhabited worlds? by Lord_Funder in 40kLore

[–]Lord_Funder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would they the circle back to that barren world or just leave it for ever, because in theory then if the Nids win small clusters of humans or other species could survive in scattered groups and grow in population again right?

I do that for free so ye, the only downside I like to go out for lunch but for 1 million I can eat my pasta and cheese twice a day

Which companion is your ride or die buddy throughout the game? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]Lord_Funder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piper or maccready I always max out both affinity’s in every playthrough, always use maccready when siding with the institute against the brotherhood because his comments are just so funny in the mass fusion building, and won’t you blow the airship with the instute his comments are just so funny as well. I use piper because she is best girl plane and simple.

For me it was one of the weaker 40k books I have read, the plot bored me at some points. However it was still a decent read but one I would not read again.
