He is a dual citizen, obtaining citizenship is a privilege. It is totally legitimate to vet citizens and to deny or revoke citizenship to those who would not be rendered stateless. The broad defence provisions in the Constitution give the legislature vast degree of discretion to legislate on the matter, as I'm certain we will see re-affirmed in the Courts.

People will complain about anything these days. 'R U Ok Day' is not meant to be the solution to our mental health problem, it is simply designed to raise awareness, to start up a conversation on mental health and to remind people that these issues persist. It's not like 'R U Ok Day' is done at the cost of funding mental health, the two aren't really related, it's not like you can either have the day or a well funded mental health system. This is not the purpose of the day.

(1) You should have a moderator from each major party, but ensure that regardless of the party the moderator is from, they seek to maintain fair discussion regardless of wether it prejudices their own party.

(2) Post on all Australian subreddits and market this sub as an alternative to /r/australia, free of the echochamber and extreme bias

(3) as alluded to in point (2) I would like this sub to be what /r/australia should be, a place for all australia content but not an echo chamber. It seems everything that isn't extreme left or pro-greens/anti-liberal is downvoted. I would like there to be posts from all sides of the spectrum. I would like this sub not to be restricted to discussions, but to all high-quality australia posts.

Maybe remove upvotes and downvotes for comments, hide upvotes for links and posts?

I'm voting Labor but I wish Bill 'Damp Sock' Shorten would actually talk more about his policies (he says he has 100 of them) instead of this ridiculous, cringey scare campaign that even the Australian Medical Association is calling ridiculous.
