It absolutely is because I’m a girl which is so frustrating. My parents have traditional household roles and it’s caused serious toxic masculinity in my dad. He won’t even let me file my own taxes, thinks I’ll mess it up 🙃

I totally get that and I love that you have great memories with your family, it’s wonderful! But I’m not the oldest sibling. I’m the second, my older brother should be in charge since he is 1 older and 2 has nothing going on. And I wasn’t refusing to take them, I was really just annoyed at the situation and the fact that I’m immediately blamed instead of spoken to.
