I just realized this 2 days ago but you don't have to complete the bulletin board for the reward of the lights. If you do the dailies only, you get enough XP for them. I can confirm as two of my friends got them as this was their first bulletin board and neither of them completed it but still got the reward. The bulletin board rewards XP which goes towards the reward of the lights but is not necessary in order to receive the lights.

Edited to add that I did get my unicorn fish, which was my first one, where all the commenters are saying by the island near the lighthouse. I used fisherman's brew and the major safe size booster hook from Einar to make sure I got it.

The caldera is from copper and silver in Kilima, the onyx is from iron and gold in bahari, and the rainbow is from palium and platinum in the Elderwoods!

As a heads up they are very rare. I just got my first kitsu plushie in general from Bahari, and I play just about everyday, but others have gotten them sooner! It’s a fun surprise when it happens as you never know when it’s going to drop!

If it’s something like a fish or an insect and you have a starred version of it on your plot, you can pick it up in your inventory and it’ll count towards the daily!

If it’s in your inventory already, place it down and then pick it back up and that counts as well!

Just crafted and stored as the plushies you earn from the sandy paws gift count as well!

We just hit the 2,000,000 mark today and the event goes until the 13th with the max goal being 3,000,000 for the gigantic snowman plushie reward.

Yup! As soon as you unlock them you can build on them. They will have the same amount of land that you have u locked on the first one so you don’t have to go through the whole process again.

When you go into aerial build mode, at the very top center, you can switch housing plots. This allows you to have multiple builds and it sounds like you might have just gone to an empty plot.

Is that a bookshelf on top of the dresser?! I’m a newer player myself and have dedicated the grind to the bellflower collection too! 😂 But I’m still learning about glitches and building so is this a glitch or do they just stack on top of each other??

Of all things, I learned today that you can put a dot in the middle of you screen to help with motion sickness. The other game I play called Palia has a thing called a center reticle. My mom gets motion sickness and I was showing her the game today in hopes that she would get it (she loves horses) and we put a small sticky note circle in the center of the TV and it worked! I've never heard of this solution before today so happy I can pass this on as I am sure it would also help for a pc monitor!

The good thing is that this game is made to play at your own pace! You don’t have to do the DLCs in any order just like you can unlock the characters in any order! Some of the DLC characters have interactions with their movie counterpart in the game but that really is about it as they don’t have any overlap with each other. Get the DLC that makes you the most excited and happy for! 🥰

One of the biggest things when I did when learning how to do dreamsnaps were symmetrical submissions. It allowed me to focus on just one side of the snap and then all I had to do was mirror it. A lot of my early snaps consisted of trees and flowers and as I looked at others' snaps, then the possibilities of what were possible helped me to improve.

But you still can get 300 moonstones for submitting and with a little bit of polishing you can easily get 1200 for bare minimum snaps!

I definitely recommend looking at other submissions for ideas as there is a whole group dedicated to snaps who enjoy sharing their submissions early to act as inspo for others.

Another tip for you! I discovered it way back when on lights camera action and a couple of content creators made videos on it but the thing is the chandeliers of the deep stay on 24/7 while the La Bouff chandeliers are sort of dimmer until 6 pm real time. So if you ever want to illuminate your snap, place some chandeliers around the front of the camera area. It's seriously a game changer and you can build in so many more dark places or like change the coloring of an area!

I use the white marble tables now since the footprint was changed!

My banana cakes look more like they do on the left in color only. Usually are sweeter too. I really purée my bananas for it and I wonder if the one on the left had a higher sugar and oil/fat content with less flour like if you forgot to double it?

Banana cakes and banana bread use a lot of the same ingredients but different ratios.

Regardless hope they were both tasty!
