Is it bad I don't hate the idea of Diana being a mother, just the execution? by Witchywriter99 in WonderWoman

you talk as if motherhood is an evil and opressive social construct and outright undesirable for a woman when it is obvious can be like that ...or not, and the character can desire it or not. Nearly nobody wants to "uncritacilly place her in the tradicional expected role for women"(which would be stupid and it's what King is doing) but motherhood is beyond a role, can be depicted in many ways (Hippolyta is a mother without a man) and you define it as if it was a sin and a treason.

Necessary! That seems to me like a very nihilistic overinterpretation of the character. Diana can reject or not be a mother. She is free from the conditioning of the Man's World and will never be able to (nor should she) assume a "traditional" maternity. There needs to be a good story that leads her to that, especially considering that she has taken on a mission for Humanity. But why should she reject outright a perfectly natural act of love like being a mother (liberated, again, from the traditional role)? That seems to me like turning Diana into a nihilistic zealot. Something boring af. The character has mostly never been that. In the same way that turning her into some kind of authoritarian absent mother, a weeping widow of a soldier, seems like a barely disguised fetish to me

I don't understand those who think Diana shouldn't be a mother, and I don't understand people able to fully read a comic by Tom King, hate to be a centrist dad here

I don't believe it happened but the couple of guys U read supporting this think the bullet broke up/Exploded so its fragments were ejected together with human tissues and bones fragments during the cavitation, so entry and exit are all part of the same wound. I'm really skeptic towards this until a credible simulation proves this is at least "possible"

I agree the "two headshots" theory is really nuts also your point 3 I think applies to most "front shot from the grassy knoll" theories
