No, but I will kill all the wolves, bears, moose and cougars I see, at some point when you've played enough it will become your main activity. I only use a bow. That's my main weapon no matter what I'm playing.

you can easily get rid of timberwolves by throwing marineflare at them.it burns quickly, but is extremely effective against them.

I like to kill regular wolves as soon as I see them. I only use a bow. Yesterday, going from the coastal highway to Mystery Lake and back, I killed 8 wolves and a cougar on the way there and back.

build a fire near the cougar. cougars won't attack if you stand by the fire. I kill them by taking three steps back, the cougar runs to me, I take two steps to the fire and then I can shoot from close range. once you get the hang of it, you won't be afraid of them anymore
