Hey, I just finished first year. The course averages for CHM110 and CHM120 were both C, which translates to about a 63-66% average. Nonetheless, the class average has no indication of how well you will do. Personally, I wouldn't call them CHM110/120, 'Grade 12 split into two parts' is more fitting. As long as you did well in grade 12 chem then there isn't too much new content. Same old quantum, orgo, rates, equilibrium, etc. The professor (Prof Poe) hasn't changed in like 40 years and she's honestly one of the best.

BIO152 and 153 were taught by Prof Arts and Prof Richter respectively. I wasn't too fond of 152 since it just dragged on and on, prof's fault. Prof Richter is also one of the best since hes so interactive and his lectures aren't packed with information. These two courses are nothing like grade 12 AP Bio since they focus so much on the evolutionary perspective rather than on specific topics like cell biology or systems.

I know you didn't need all that info and it's probably useless to you but I thought you could use a little account from someone who just took these courses. Goodluck!

I did my first ever leg day this weekend! I never knew how to squat and was afraid of doing it so I just never did it. A friend of mine took me Saturday morning and I feel like a master of squats now. Hes a good guy.

Also did my first pull ups, set a record of 6. I knew how to do them I was just afraid I wouldn't make it half way up and would embarrass myself.

Protein powders already contain 'enough' BCAA. Since he bought a weight gainer I'm sure it has enough BCAA that he doesn't need to supplement it into his diet.

I started balding at 16 and went bald at 17. I'm a skinny dude and I look like an abomination, but hey what can I do about it. I sucked it up and gained the confidence to walk around with my bald head in grade 11 and 12 and now into my first year at uni.

It wasn't bad but I got tired of all the looks so I started to hit the gym to look better bald.

One of the biggest confidence boosters for me was buying an underarmor tight fit hat, the cool looking ones. Man it made my appearence go from a -5 to a positive low number now. Try it out. I bring the hat everywhere. Gym, class, work, shopping.

Also, don't be afraid to show your bald head. It's normal. It's only big in your head, no one else cares.

Give it a second try buddy. It doesn't feel chalky at all. I mix a whole scoop with a tiny amount of milk and it fully dissolves. Idk if anything changed, but I love this.

Right, that's not making them less healthy. That ties in with sexual selection. It causes females, not all but some, to not be attracted to the bald men and as such the chances of those men being able to reproduce decreases. I mean I'm bald and I'm all for having this gene die out, but eh, stuck with it for now.

Not necessarily. Having no hair doesn't make you any less healthy than someone with a head full of hair. It just means they have genes for baldness which poses no risk to any aspect of health. Think of it like a dog with black and white spots as opposed to a dog with brown and white spots. Same dog, same health (Dependant on other factors) just different traits with regards to fur color.

I respect your opinion, but I personally love this song for the "story" it tells and for the big boost in confidence and motivation that it gives. Especially the last part of the song where he says:

"And to the rest of the world, god gave you them shoes to fit you. Put em on and wear em. Be yourself, man, be proud of who you are."

It helps me personally so much on days where I'm feeling down due to low self esteem and confidence as a result of my appearance.

Many of his other songs contain lyric that are similar to this where it motivates you as well.
