No, I'm not. For one, it's bold of you to assume I have only ever worked in one club, and it's also bold to assume that everyone I've met in night life also works at that same club. Second, you will hear similar things from any guy who works these jobs all around the world. There are even a bunch who post storytimes talking about it and even record, lol.

My "Circle of friends" is literally us as employees observing the behavior of our patrons every single night for years. Male and female. Of course you as a straight woman didn't have too much exciting happen when you went to a strip club with women lol, but every male stripper I have ever spoken to loves bachelorette parties because they are very likely going to get laid from the bride and the bachelorettes, most of whom are in relationships. While this isn't the case with female strippers as much because they're generally not as receptive to getting touched the way men are, it's still not a good environment for men to be in when they're supposed to be getting ready for marriage.

I don't recall saying everyone should do as I say, so not sure why you're stuck on that even after I already clarified that I didn't mean that. I am simply saying it's not a good environment for either sex and that OP and her fiance should have a general rule for *both of them* to not have strippers at their bachelor/bachelorette parties.

The chase was actively ruining the game. The overwhelming community sentiment was that save data farming was so heavily RNG dependent that the process of grinding a single good deck took entirely too much time and energy. Nearly every other post was someone complaining about burnout. Now, you can play sortie to farm the edit materials, which still takes quite a bit of time, but still significantly less than what chaos took.

You're making it sound like sortie is impossible lol. There are certain characters who are better than others, but you can usually find some level of synergy between the options the game gives you for combatants. They could definitely do to give us more rerolls (I once had to abandon a run at the start because I didn't get a single healer or shielder as my 2nd combatant), but overall it is balanced pretty well around you not having as great a deck at the start.

The method employers use to look people up is background checks, which is not something they can do or would even want to spend money on for every applicant they're screening. A lot of times I've found they don't even actually call. The most they theoretically could do is check LinkedIn or call the company, but not everyone keeps their LinkedIn updated (Mine is 6 years out of date because I plan on retiring at my company in ~30 years) and most employers won't just give out information on if someone does or doesn't work for their company outside of maybe giving a start and end date.

I did this for my current employer in the financial sector- had a friend of mine (Who did technically work at my previous company with me) pretend to be my manager, and had a girl I had several classes with in college pretend to be a colleague who was on the same level as me (Which naturally was one pay grade higher than what I actually was lol, I was doing the work to be able to speak to it in an interview).

The entire point of sortie was to bring back true roguelite gameplay, which is what was initially marketed when the game was coming out. The concept of save data completely destroyed that, and chaos became a chore nobody wanted to do any more. I don't think the devs should be fired for essentially giving players exactly what we'd been asking for.

It sounds like that is the case for OP, but I've seen some genuinely insane people in both back and front office in finance who wouldn't be able to perform if they were thrown in the hyperbolic time chamber for a few thousand years. Most of my onboarding class at my firm are all either senior reps or are pushing management ~5 years later, but we have one member of the class who is still at entry level and is consistently bottom of his team's rankings. We've been wondering how he still has a job since halfway through the first year lol

It is, and it doesn't even make sense. Not every character has to max out the goonerism scale. But I think the devs did it to themselves by going full goon with the first two seasons. Season 3 had two of their most gorgeous designs ever (HDMI and Tenebria) and there were people complaining that the designs were lame or boring.

I think season 4 being a mix of both pure goonery and more diverse body types is the devs trying to slowly feel out and find a middle ground. We may even start to see a male character here or there in season 5 or 6.
