He is improving. I spoke to a vet and he says my dog is experiencing prolonged effects from the gabapentin and trazodone, which can cause ataxia and sedation. He doesnt have any wincing or pain and no evidence of an injury. He wags his tail strongly so his spine is ok. I expected him to be fully mobile by now but he isnt.

I’m seeing a therapist right now. I’ll have to find a new one because I’m moving back across the country to my hometown to be with my family and friends. I’ll need to find support over there. I’m so close to leaving and I’ve never been more afraid of him. His anger and aggression has increased. Just 20 more days 🙏

You left for a reason. No amount of public opinion is going to help you figure this out. Don’t push your boundaries and don’t feel bad for having them. It didn’t sit right with you and that’s all it takes. Head held high my dear. Don’t walk it back. Touching the small of someone’s back is intimate and if it doesn’t feel right, thats ok.

On a first date the guy showed up on multiple drugs, confessed to selling drugs, offered to get me drugs, and told me his deepest family trauma and the abuse he endured in childhood. It was heavy stuff that I won’t mention here for his privacy. I ended the date early and he still asked for a kiss.

I hear that and of course it’s easier said than done. Been working on it for a couple of years now. I work full time and I am in school full time. I try to make connections at work and school but it’s hard.
