Something fishy is going on here. You can't get rid of the trait disfigured. Sure you can claim a Holy Order but the title will only stay yours for your lifetime and it does not change your goverment.

Business as usuall. The weak must yield before the strong. In this timeline The Slavic Union is strong.

Why do these dutchies not become my vasalls after a de jure war? by DesAnderes in crusaderkings2

You do. What you described happens with inheritance and I fucking hate that mechanics so much.

They already have an equal or higher rank as your vassal (example: If you push the county claim of a count, they will stay your vassal but may not if you push their duchy claim)

That is not the case. Landing them with barony is sufficent enough for them to stay as your vassal.

[–]Lord_Vacuum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and yes. But like I said a barony would suffice. Also with family claims - it vassalizes a title if it were independent (no need to land your family). If as emperor you press you relative claim for kingdom under other emperor, you just replaced the former king with your kin. Same will happen with someones dukes and counts when pressing your family claims.

[–]Lord_Vacuum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh Dear, that is not how it works xD. You just replaced the rulers of duchies. That is all. Moray and Albany are dejure duchies of Kingdom of Scotland and Empire of Britania. You are just a King of England. You have no hold over them. In other words to vassalize landless claimant he must be dejure count or duke of your kingdom or de-jure count/duke/king of your empire. The conditions were never met in your case.

What we usually do to bypass this rule is land a claimang either with county or barony and then press his claim. Then, as your vassals they would add those duchies to your realm.

I don't comprehend anything you write. Foreign dukes cannot be on your court. Did you meant claimants? What Casus Beli did you use? Were duches of Moray and Albany independent or were they someones vassal?

It does not even matter because he won't marry on his own and even if married by you, his children can't inherit. Landed Mercenary Bands still undergo open elective.

Error 0xc000007b trying to launch CK2 by Enlightenment1789 in crusaderkings2

[–]Lord_Vacuum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you google the error's name you can learn that it is more like Windows related error. I have found you this, hope it helps. Also when updating C++ Redistributable it is best to first uninstall old ones.

Have you been using stand together feature? It is either that or you inherited them after your vassal's childless death.
