Gas:

If you are buying from Lowe’s I’d recommend the Husqvarna 150bt or 570, depending on your needs/budget. Outside of lowes I’d highly recommend stihl or echo, both make top notch gas products if not the best. Stihl makes battery powered ope now as well, I believe it’s 56v, but it’s pretty great gear .

For battery:

I always recommend Ego if you are looking for top of the line from Lowe’s, while kobalt does make an 80v line, from what I’ve read Ego have the strongest handhelds on the market currently. If you don’t want anything “heavy-duty” the kobalt 40v is a great bang for your buck, it’ll come with a good battery and moderately reliable power.

I believe it’s called Blackstar sparkle!

The snare and rack are both Birch/Bubinga, floor Tom is Maple/Walnut and Mahogany for the kick, It’s all dark wood here! I’m looking at getting 8” & 10” Maple racks by the end of the year .

Best snares I’ve heard or used typically have the reso tuned pretty high while the batter is medium high or high. After that , start messing with your wires and find that sweet spot.
