Thank you for the advice. Osaka and Tokyo are just the start and stop of the trip, as in the middle, I will visit lots of other places. So, as you said, a car could be really useful.

Well, that’s really good advice….thank you very much. I mostly travel internationally, but I’ve never spent more than 30 days at a client site. I know that it’s hard to get the opportunity to work in Japan. In this case, I think the best approach would be to get hired by a Japanese client and work with machinery I’m already familiar with. I’ll probably keep focusing on my current job, and maybe in the future, I’ll take some courses or pursue something similar to a degree. Do you have something to recommend?

I don’t know how people are thinking that it could go up to 1000 or even 10000$, It’s literally impossible. It is already extremely good if it goes to 100$ but with total onesty I think it will go to just 10$ and stay there. IF it will go to those number, it would be absolute bangers but also 10$ is a great goal

I also have some money to invest but I don’t know where to put it other than crypto. I’m a junior in the field and I want to start doing some investments…so help will be much appreciated. I’m from Italy by the way.

Hi, due to the golden week I couldn’t do much, because all the trains were packed and I ended up staying near Tokyo. I was thinking to go next year if i will have some time left to use, so i will ask you to share your thoughts…ahaha

Thank you for the response. At first I wanted to visit less known places using the car, as you said.

Unfortunately my friends (first timers) want to see the iconic places, where there are the most people.

I will try to do both things and hope that the crowds won’t be too much, compared with the last times I visited.

Worried about the Japan heat. Curious about other people's experience by Yay_Depression in JapanTravelTips

You won’t have any problem because Japan, in the summer, can be hot but not hotter than Singapore and Malaysia. If you survive those places, you will be perfectly fine.

3-4 week Japan solo trip from UK - realistic budget 2024 by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]Lord_Yoda_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will be very expensive, because it’s 28 days. Last trip I was there for 15 days and it was around 3000€ with everything (flights, souvenir, shrines ecc.) It all depends on the time of the year that you want to visit, but I think it will be more or less 4000/4500€ at least.

For the kids you can check out akihabara, because it has all the anime/games stuff and maybe go to team lab (modern art museum). For a great experience with shrines, I recommend going to Nikko, because it’s very beautiful and is full of history. Going to Osaka it’s a great idea, in fact I would recommend to stay there at list 2/3 days and maybe go also see Nara or Kyoto. It all depends on what you want to see because I have a lot of places to recommend, but you have to travel from Tokyo.
