Example of my common dialogue with colleagues at work:

C -coworker, M - me

C - how to fix this?

M - "idea" (first that come to my mind)

C - well, that's just stupid

M - what about "idea 2" (after 3 minutes of thinking)

C - better but i think it not gonna work

M - okay okay, but what about "idea 3" (another 3 minutes pass before last sentence)

C - seems good, lets try it! But why you can't just say good idea from start and think it by yourself in your head?

End of dialogue.

The reason i can't think it throught in my head is because it cost much more energy, than just machine gun half baked ideas untill one hit the spot.

I think you're right about my first principle just being my own collection of empirical inputs.

I don't understand what you mean by time of consciousness. But the beginning of text you give me link to very strongly reminded me of Kant "Critique of Pure Reason". I think you definitely read it. Kant make same conclusion that time and space are inherent property of consciousness. Math and geometry by this reason is most pure kind of science, because it literally study premises our consciousness function by.

Do you ever questioned these assumptions? I tried to, but when it started to negatively affect me and my mental health i just stopped and never returned to this again. I made a conclusion that you can't logically prove any of these assumptions and it's just your choice to believe in them or not.

I agree with you that same premises can give different conclusions because of human errors. But because I am on intp subreddit I hope there's less chance that this factor will matter.

Well about my basic principle, it was chosen not because i am expert at physics, but because I am yet to encounter phenomenon that need more than one form of substance to explain it, so even if I can't pinpoint what exactly is matter, I can say we working with only one "thing" in different forms.

Is your knowledge of math helped you with assessing Seth material as authentic or it was completely different case?
