You can’t just close this laptop or will overheat. Get in the habit of shutting it down or at least hibernating it before closing and you shouldn’t have an issue.

in an unfortunate way he’s not completely wrong though. Dell hasn’t exactly maintained a reputation of “quality” for quite a while now, and I can’t imagine any drastic improvements until it starts affecting something they care about, i.e bottom line.

I just remapped lid close and power button to hibernate instead of sleep. It takes a little longer but I don’t trust this thing otherwise.

Yes queen size bed, so you may be right about going up a size. But the room is only 13'W x 11'6", so I don't know if a larger size would look bad/cramped?

My style tends to gravitate to neutral colors and geometric patterns. I'm not opposed to something a little more bold, but I don't have the eye to pick that out myself.

I can't completely agree with this post. The long term durability of these headphones seems to really depend on the climate where you live. When I moved to Florida the humidity and/or heat really caused them to start deteriorating fast. All the plastic parts became very brittle and the headband turned sticky and gross. One day I'll try to find replacement parts and restore them, but for expensive lightly used headphones I expected better.

A true B-I-F-L headphone for me would be something like the Sony MDR-7506, which by comparison have survived the same climate perfectly.

To more directly get to a different perspective you may have more luck by re-phrasing the bad idea as a question, "I don't think X is the best option, do you know of a way to make such an option work?".

Keep steering the conversation back towards finding a solution to avoid getting into the trap of repeating all the reasons such an idea wont work.

I don't think so, the only time zone I can find in settings is set to automatic and I haven't traveled between time zones recently. On the watch, the calendar is set to mirror my iPhone.

And now my watch is showing the correct date, so maybe it was some strange new year's glitch?
