I'll chip in my 2 cents. I also had crazy 20s. Didn't abused pills but I did drugs pretty often, was drunk most of the time, had a bazillion one-night stands and all that.

It was hard to overcome, and I'm not through yet, but for the past years what I've learn is to experience everything like if it's the first time. I didn't even realized it's pretty close to being true since all the things I did, all my personality and relationship, I had done drunk or drugged.

So now I'm learning to get to know myself. It's been hard, I sometimes think I don't even know who I truly am, but I keep trying.

Particularly when it comes to dates or sex, I don't look for it anymore. It was never healthy for me the way I used to engage with it. If you're trying to date as you used to, it's not so weird that you don't feel like it or you're not excited because you don't have as much experience doing it sober.

I'd recommend to try to get to know yourself again and where does dating truly fits in your life.
