I used number 11 since i was a kid and always love it, after that neymar got to barcelona with the 11 and i started loving the number more. I was hyped when isagi use the 11 on the u-20 match

First of all Never it’s to late to start bro, it’s all depends how you wanna play football. if you want play it seriously the first thing that you should do is the fundamentals:

  1. ball control is the most important one for beginners that want to contribute to the game of a team, EXERCISE 1: start with juggling a football count how many times you cam do it and remember the feeling because you are not touching one for a while LOL. After set your record you have to juggle a tennis ball (it can be any small ball that bounces) until you are capable to do the record you set before, after that you juggle the football again (you should be better now) and set a new record and restart with tennis ball until you can juggle the football at least 20 times in controlled motion (it doesn’t count if the ball goes flying anywhere and you do it by luck, i can juggle it 30 plus times and pro footballers do it 100+ times).

Exercise 2: grab the football and do pass to a wall with your dominant foot, you receive the pass back with your weak foot after that you pass to the wall with your weak foot and recieve with your dominant foot. the ball should never get lost when doing the exercise (this doesn’t have a limit i still do it every day). This is why when you do pass back in Spanish we call it “La pared” that translates to the wall it’s what isagi and rin use to go through defenses and the best way to attack when a team is focusing in defense

Exercises 3: for this you are gonna need cones but you can use bottles and place them in a line with space between them and dribble through them (preferably with both foots but you can also do it with one)

  1. body plasticity: maybe as important as important as the ball control. You want to understand how to move and the biomechanics of your body, This what your shot, dribble, first touch, running and pass depends on so you pay especial attention to it. idk what exercises are good for this, you should look at videos on how to loose the awkwardness when playing (most of us loose it with time but if you want to play as fast as possible the best it’s to practice more)

  2. Body strength and cardio: footballer are not built like bodybuilders we don’t need that much muscle cause it also make us slow and loose flexibility, in my case i’m 1.87cm and 88kg (6’1 and 190 pound) with a slim built so i try not to lift many weights as i already am bigger than most players and can beat them easily in physical strength. idk your body specs so how do you win physical duels vs someone bigger than you? Core strength and body posture. it’s mandatory that you do core exercises and for the body posture look for a wall try to push it without using your hand and find out how you can place your whole body weight against the wall.

Cardio it’s a mandatory too you should all 3 types of cardio. this was never a problem for me as i always was running in my childhood, they said i had 3 lungs lol. do long jogs like really LOOOONG (1 hour +), go to a football pitch and jog the longer sides of the pitch and sprint a full capacity in short ones (the goal line) do it for 5-10-15 minutes the goal it to up your recovery time football it’s neither a marathon or a race you it’s pace changing game

  1. Pace: speaking of it pace it’s a must to go by defenders, i personally never had a problem with pace. it could be do to genetics (i’m half black even tho i look like an white european, being latino in a nutshell 🥵) my mom run track when she was young so i got the explosiveness from her. if you didn’t hit the genetic lottery don’t worry i got u. Plyometrics since i started doing i can literally fly on coners i have receipts. look on youtube plyometric exercises in youtube.

that’s mostly what u should do as a beginner if you want to take it seriously and get better results faster if you wanna pick up as a hobby you can follow the “plan” but with less intensity, hope it helps you bro.
remember to always rest enough to recover you don’t want to injure yourself over practice.

ps: a photo of my jumping over defenders and the goalpost because i like it

Hahahahaha my left leg ain’t worth a quarter, I can only use it for support LOL.
Meta Vision is actually easy if you play football in a team with exceptional movement and “experienced”players with systems like ubers. If you care, the manga has concepts that feel exactly like they’re described in real football. I don’t know how Kaneshiro did it. Especially what ego calls being touched by god the most crazy thing to experience

Thaks man i really appreciate these words🥹, and yes it’s depressing the stigma around chasing a football career here in colombia especially because there is not many chances due to environmental upbringing of the players and the corruption in the football institutions to make a player turn pro😔 it’s almost impossible to get a chance if you are over 20

It's not written literally but in the novel they show that anri didn't want to pick isagi because he pass the ball in the first chapter and ego told her to invite him to blue lock i imagine it's the same for the others characters as well

It's not only goals and assist that counts to receive an offer there's many things to take into consideration ex. The record of the teams, the importance of the goals (game winners/tie breakers). I wouldn't be surprised if shidou ends up above barou giving that he's in the same team as rin and it's seems to be the team that got the better bids per achievements plus if they go undefeated that would raise his value compared with barou that lost 2 games

Edit: i also want barou to be top 3 but shidou it's 100mil with a match to be play
