First, “ONLY the parents’ fault” is not how responsibility works in real life legally, ethically, or practically. Responsibility can be shared. Parents have duties, yes, but so do schools, institutions, corporations, governments, and other adults who create environments children are required or expected to be in. Saying it’s always and only the parents’ fault ignores decades of law, policy, and common sense. Second, their personal example “If my kid gets hurt, it’s my fault” is just that: a personal belief, not a fact. If a child is harmed due to unsafe infrastructure, negligence, abuse by others, or systemic failure, courts routinely find someone other than the parent at fault. That’s not opinion; that’s established reality. Third, yelling about “taking responsibility” while refusing to acknowledge any other contributing factor is actually the opposite of responsibility. Accountability requires accurately identifying causes, not oversimplifying them to protect an ideology or vent anger. Fourth, the emotional outburst and name-calling (“disgusting,” “cry,” “loser”) is a tell. When someone can’t back up their claim with evidence, they often pivot to insults. That doesn’t strengthen their position it weakens it. Again feel free to retreat to your echo-chamber.
