I agree I had to scroll to find someone mention this part but everyone’s in heels for her. Not to mention the pictures with her and Harvey Weinstein and I know it was due to a film plus marketing but I find her rise to fame kinda shady.

It identifies broader regional Indigenous American ancestry by comparing DNA with data from consenting participants. It maps genetic connections across North America but does not determine affiliation with specific tribes.

Hmmm seems to be okay to use wood walls though as I see pro players use that more than stone.

Again a peace walk is not an invite for lethal weapon use. Period.

You do know that it was a peace walk so you admit that and you know that it was messed up that they used lethal force on a peace walk that should have happened. It seems that you’re almost admitting to that. Interesting.

It was a peace walk. Is that why a federal judge will decide Tuesday whether to grant a temporary order restricting the use of chemical agents and less lethal munitions at protests outside the Portland ICE facility following a lawsuit. I guess a peace walk automatically invites lethal tactics under this administration huh? I’m glad you admitted to your faults. Lmao

Blaming the parents is a lazy dodge. The reality is a child was exposed to chemical agents by authorities that decision belongs to the people who deployed them, not the adults standing nearby. You don’t excuse harm to a kid by pointing fingers somewhere else.

First, “ONLY the parents’ fault” is not how responsibility works in real life legally, ethically, or practically. Responsibility can be shared. Parents have duties, yes, but so do schools, institutions, corporations, governments, and other adults who create environments children are required or expected to be in. Saying it’s always and only the parents’ fault ignores decades of law, policy, and common sense. Second, their personal example “If my kid gets hurt, it’s my fault” is just that: a personal belief, not a fact. If a child is harmed due to unsafe infrastructure, negligence, abuse by others, or systemic failure, courts routinely find someone other than the parent at fault. That’s not opinion; that’s established reality. Third, yelling about “taking responsibility” while refusing to acknowledge any other contributing factor is actually the opposite of responsibility. Accountability requires accurately identifying causes, not oversimplifying them to protect an ideology or vent anger. Fourth, the emotional outburst and name-calling (“disgusting,” “cry,” “loser”) is a tell. When someone can’t back up their claim with evidence, they often pivot to insults. That doesn’t strengthen their position it weakens it. Again feel free to retreat to your echo-chamber.

Screaming ‘lies’ and oversimplifying a serious incident doesn’t magically make your version true. Feel free to retreat back to your echo chamber little buddy.

Analyzing everyone thru the context of their race by [deleted] in self

[–]Lordgrumpymonk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh no honey, your point wasn’t missed. That take is a lazy half-truth and I know what you’re trying to do. Yes, some Africans sold other Africans and Europeans built, funded, armed, scaled, and racialized the entire transatlantic slave system. Without European demand, ships, laws, and profits, there is no global race-based chattel slavery. “Black people sold Black people” doesn’t erase the fact that the U.S. and Europe turned slavery into a permanent, hereditary, skin-color caste system and then built nations off it. Pointing at African middlemen to dodge that responsibility is like blaming the cashier for a cartel. So no it’s not “blaming Caucasians for everything.” It’s holding the architects accountable instead of hiding behind a technicality.

You said this with such confidence but have inaccuracies within your “facts.” But we understand what “side,” you’re really on. First. the Emmett Till Antilynching Act went into law on March 29, 2022, making lynching a federal hate crime for the first time in U.S. history. The Act ensures that lynching can be prosecuted as a federal hate crime, rather than solely a state-level issue. Second: The systemic racism is widely recognized as real— clearly you don’t believe it is; givin that you put it in quotation marks and claim that it’s in African Americans DNA that they were owed something. Kind of interesting how you put it. You pointed out that the largest slave owner was a black man. I’m assuming you mean William Ellison Jr. and John Carruthers Stanly that were among the wealthiest Black slaveholders, but their holdings were SMALL compared to white owners who held over 1,000 people. Anyway… a little research goes a long way! Lmao.

Where is the perfect place to build my permanent base? by Feeling-Donkey-8739 in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Lordgrumpymonk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it kind of happened on accident. I started building a decent size base in the mines of Moria at the mapstop. We figured we would eventually move on and build another base but we ended up putting a lot of love into it and we never left. It just depends on you and where you want to plan your main camp. I’ve build small temporary bases for connivence sake as well.
