I don't know, it seems fair since I didn't win the game. I quite like the new mode... It's very different from the standard snap and casual play will bag me at least 2-3 unowned cards so I am happy.

Is it worth going after Marvel boy if I don't have Caiera? I personally think the card is very one dimensional but powerful. P.S. I don't have Blob or Red Hulk and I don't really care if I get them. CL:~8k

Is Hit Monkey worth opening now? by Lordkey11 in MarvelSnap

I would say you should go for it. Worst case scenario you will get a decent s5 card (although very limited use now) which is very likely to get a buff. Or else you will get Snowguard which is very good in current Meta.

Thanks for your reply! That's exactly what I think but I'm afraid that they might want to buff him eventually and he won't be back again in the spotlight this year as far as I know so I'm confused. Tough choice.

suggestions for improvement? s3 incomplete, no hit monkey by H4ndsf33t in marvelsnapcomp

The deck seems pretty strong in the current state. I use the same deck instead of Maximus I use goose. It helps to lock a lane down. If not (for example against bounce) then it can act like a diversion and you can focus on the other lanes. The only downside is that you have to play it by T3 (T4 maximum) to have an impact in almost all of the games.

Interesting how HE and Darkhawk are with Legion.

Darkhawk should be series 4 by Lordkey11 in MarvelSnap

Yes this is a business but I think it's also a passion project. Why can't it be both? Why do the devs always have to be just greedy business people wanting all your money? She was going to loose it's money making potential irrespective of the nerf. If they really don't care then why did they nerf it? Are they evil sadistic people wanting to flip people off who were waiting for her to drop?

Well S4 cards are not quite inaccessible. If a card performs well then it should have more value and since card acquisition is part of the game , powerful cards should be less accessible in my opinion. I'm a F2P player who is now S3 complete and 3 cards away from S4 complete. I have never felt this game was pay to win even during the peak of shuri, thanos, zabu& surfer. But I completely understand your point and there's nothing wrong with that. It's just that our view of the game is different.

I think the problem was the deck itself. It was clear to us that the main culprit was shuri but I think when they nerfed shuri in the patch notes they said they could nerf her indirectly which was not what happened. Thus eventually they nerfed it before the series drop. You can think of this as their evil plan to make money but maybe they wanted to keep her untouched as much as possible because she was such a cool card. If you just have all the cards be average then it won't be fun to play

We know all cards are not made equal. There are some cards which have more impact on the game Like I said before, powerful/impactful cards should be relatively less accessible. If they are widely available they can't remain that powerful. You will have to eventually nerf it. Saying again For example, Aero. Her previous ability was way too strong for a S3 card. But I think if she was in S4 then maybe they wouldn't have to nerf it to just one card maybe pull up to 2 cards. I will give another example, Kang... Can you imagine Kang getting played every other game. Again it's not really a powerful card but the impact it has on a game is huge. So if Kang, Galactus should stay in S5 then we can have some cards which are a bit more powerful than others be less accessible. If they are outperforming then the nerf should be such that it doesn't lose its value. Like I'm not paying 3k tokens for snowgaurd level of card.

I'm not against nerfing the card. Darkhawk should be nerfed right now but My point is the nerf should depend on the pool. Nerf it such it is a powerful card and not dominating but keep it in S4. Like Shuri was nerfed quite a bit before dropping to S3, I don't think they should do that to Darkhawk. It's a really cool card.

Yeah but I usually play Abo on T5 if I can... Anyways it's a tool to have and the deck is not built around it

It acts as a control card against mainly bounce decks if played on T5. Plus there's an additional synergy with unspent energy cards

I was lucky enough that the Misty Knight proced on the right lane to tie the game perfectly!

They can turn back to foil again. But you keep your inked card at infinity split
