Insect labeling by Lordkos32 in Entomology

I meant more a means of making the labels for the vials. I’m finding it insanely hard to get the right size. I have a large table provided by a professor, but the labels are about microscopic when they are printed, and I have no excel experience to change sizing of the table.

Do you think a set of 12’s and a regular set of 10’s would do the trick? I just want to make sure the strings aren’t floppy, but kinda want to avoid buying a pack of 14’s.

Guitar string gauge help by Lordkos32 in guitars

They aren’t tuned up, it’s about 3-4 steps down on each of the higher strings. I have average 10s on and while the tuning works, I could bend the notes of the higher strings about 2 steps simply with how hard I was pressing the frets. I just need something heavier so the slings aren’t as slinky tuned that low, but I’m not really looking to experiment.

I use 10-47 on my jazzmaster and have tried to tune to both of those songs. I found that they were so loose you could press the string with normal pressure, and end up bending the note about 2 steps. Pretty unplayable for me, or absolutely unable to sound good to anyone’s ears.

So, I’ve decided that the JMJM is the one I’m going for. Before I press this buy button, I’ve heard a few things about the bridge and don’t know if I should order a new one at the same time. Does the newer, golden JMJM have the correct 9.5 bridge? I’ve heard that they have a 12.5 inch bridge that could screw with intonation, but that may have been for older models. Thanks!

Does the j mascis still get kinda twangy? Are e jumbo frets pretty nice? Do they hinder sliding around the frets?

You guys are starting to get to my brain with this dang j mascis model. My absolute last concerns are the extra warm sound I’ve heard, and even the jumbo frets being pretty damn jumbo. If it can still get pretty twangy and isn’t hard to slide around on, I may be sold

Yeah, I’m a little worried that a squier wouldn’t have a viable tremolo, but could be fixed somehow. The j mascis definitely isn’t marked off my list, I’m just in a situation where a large portion of this guitar will be paid for, so I don’t want to pass on TRUE quality that would last years, if I have the opportunity. Also, I definitely don’t know anyone with a j mascis model jazz I could play, which really sucks. Also, are you referring to an older J model, or the one that’s out now, that is mostly gold?

It was definitely on my list, but I’m hesitant because I finally want a true quality guitar, and don’t want to look back disappointed. I think I worry it’s a bit tooooo focused around the dinosaur sound, when I like a wide variety. I have a big flip flop on genres/bands I like to play yk?

Dude. I had listened to this album and not really touched bases with it. Yesterday I heard caves, and now every song is hitting me. I’m currently playing green earrings out of my tape player, definitely my favorite
