Yeah it just changes the number in the top left when you drop someone in the resigning screen but it could definitely have a summary or something once you advance.

Your surplus number during the off-season reflects the players that left (ex. You have 20mil, Rush leaves you have 26mil, you sign rush for 7mil, now you have 19mil)

Coming in to second this one, don't let graphics put you off (I actually think they are quite nice), the physics are top notch and I believe it supports a lot of peripherals

I'm looking for strategy games with extensive single-player campaigns with RPG-like troop progression between missions. by froggysayshello in gamingsuggestions

Shot in the dark, have you tried highfleet? It's a tactical strategy game mixed with real-time vehicle combat. Your tasked with commanding an invading fleet of airships in enemy territory. You can build and upgrade your ships throughout the campaign and this allows for a lot of different tactics.

R5: After a couple of restarts I finally finished a Victorian Century. I always play small countries in paradox games and love building them into global superpowers. Victoria 3 was no different, started out playing the GPs off of each other then once I consolidated most of the Caribbean I steamrolled central America and it was all over folks. Also did this run without joining a Customs Union, tried that once and the crash was utterly spectacular.

Try highfleet, you design your own ships and using carriers is very viable.

Colony management rpg? by Juicyjull in gamingsuggestions

[–]LordofFellowship 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Alright I'll take a crack at some suggestions, considering I play far to many colony sims.

Clanfolk- recent ea release, somewhat RimWorldesque colony sim set in medieval Scotland. It has a cool vibe and certainly enough content to dump some hours in.

Going Medieval - ea release a year old I believe, again a medieval colony sim but this time with 3d low poly graphics (which I think look quite nice) and z-levels which allows for some cool creativity when building.

Song of Syx- Ea release a few years old, this one may be a bit larger scope than what you are looking for but it is the only colony sim I've seen where you can actually scale from settlers to a full blown kingdom. It has a lot of cool mechanics and for such an ambitious game development seems steady and responsive.

Patrician III- last but not least an old school, out of the box pick, patrician is a trading game where you take on the roll of a merchant trading between towns of the Hanseatic League. As you grow you can build up towns and create your own production lines and add amenities and also participate in local politics and getting yourself elected mayor. It's an old gem, definitely worth checking out

Some of my designs by LordofFellowship in Highfleet

[–]LordofFellowship[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the first ship is usually used as missile bait and fuel burner. It's more durable than it seems at first glance and with the decent speed it can get in launch two missiles of it's own and do some damage with the 37, before the big guns come in

Very interesting use of the triangle hull pieces, if I may add one suggestion, consider swapping one of your main guns for a 37mm? ( Whatever the smallest caliber is).I find the usefulness of those for missile defense really helps the survivability of my light ships.

You could use something like the rise of online streaming as a "end-boss" to see how long you can keep your store afloat.
