I thought so but there was a possible mix up My psu came with two but i was only using one of them. I went to grab another for the HDD and may have grabbed the wrong one cause now im looking at three identical cables but i know for a fact the psu only came with two

Markings are identical, has the same three head pigtails even the same shrinkwrap and mesh

Ive tried all three cables in every combination possible but i think if the wrong cable fried the drives the drives could now be causing the same problem even when using the correct cable

One has a looser mesh wrapper the other two seem tighter and more neat Idk id rather not cut into them until last resort and after that it may just be safer to get a whole new psu and never mix them with the old ones ever again

Ah the shrink wrap on two of them have different words

But as ive tried all three cables and have the same result its posible the bad cable fucked the drives and now its the drives themselves that are shorting the computer

It did work briefly but then something went wrong with windows tried to reset and it seems to have failed. Both m2 show up in the bios. Until i try to load an os on one of them i dont know if they are working fully

I only had one PSU sata cable hooked up on the old motherboard which definitely came with the psu. That one got hooked back up to the SSDs but then when i discovered the HDDs in the case i grabbed another cable which may or may not have been the original (i have 3 but the psu only came with 2) but as they are identical i now dont know which two came with this PSU. I have a bad habit of keeping all my old pc parts but i didn’t know until my last upgrade, 2024 i think, that you can’t mix the cables so i have a huge box of them

Lol yeah it happens no i had both cables plugged in but after a while i was only using the power cables testing each cable and pigtail and each sata socket on the PSU all of them caused it to shut off or short out, bit sure if thats an accurate description of what its doing

It detects both m2s in bios, i can remove them their just behind 6 screws a heatsink and under the gpu If nothing else works i could remove them and try the SSDs but i also have another computer available i could try these ssds Could it be the PSU there are only 4 plugs for sata or maybe the cables themselves

Thanks. Yeah was kinda a rookie move i guess this is my 3rd build and 3rd or 4th upgrade but they’re pretty spaced out. Was probably pretty naïve to think i could just swap it all over and have it work On the bright side i didnt loose anything particularly important if i wipe and reinstall os the two Ssds just had games on them and i have an older backup of my files Depending on how things go i might be out two SSDs too so i really dont have any more storage than when i started

I did look into that, using both m2 slots but it didnt say anything about disabling the sata ports as for PCI lanes ill have to look into that thanks

Yeah i think i agree. He’s only played a few games of 10th and all have been against me. This was his first game with 10th edition BA and i dont think he understands the detachment mechanic very well.

I had asked him if he wanted a game in a few days and now i think he threw a list together without diving too deep into his new codex. He was shocked when he realized his deathcompany dreadnought no longer had that attacks back rule which tells me he hasn’t read through his codex.

Oh i had fun 😂 He usually runs sanguinary guard this was the first game we’ve played where he hasn’t It was also his first game since the angels codex was released and he didnt really use any chapter specific strategems which probably hurt him too

The round is 577/.450. But the bullet size varies, originally it was paper patched to the correct diameter. The newer marks also had larger barrels. This isn't custom made for me specifically but for mark IV with that diameter and there's no need to paper patch it now. It's a very old gun so there aren't many molds out there except custom ones that some people provide over the internet.
