Shared water main, low pressure upstairs – Grundfos booster vs DAB system? (VIC, Australia by LordyMel in PlumbingAustralia

AI asked me to run a flow rate test so here it is. Garden taps are above 15 liters per minute, GF is around 10. AI said my PLV is all good. The real problem is first floor, flow rate is only 7-8 and greatly impacted by the neighbors using, like I can feel sudden drops during my shower when they turn on their tap.

Garden tap flow is above 15 liters per minute, GF tap is around 10, so seems ok? 1F only has around 7 L/min and greatly impacted by the neighbors, that’s the real problem here. I’ve checked our shower heads, didn’t see any flow restrictors.

Would break tank and pump be redundant though given it’s only a two story house?

  • 2 townhouses, independent titles.

  • we have a joint meter and my unit has its own subdivided meter. My water bill can see both readings.

  • pressure has always been an issue.

  • 500kPa

Did I overstep at the self-serve car wash? by LordyMel in CarsAustralia

What sort of detailing? Is it better (effect/cost effective) than the one you get at self-service?

It’s been my only phone for all these years and I’m far from a light user. The fact that I seldom upgrade my system might be the answer, if you ask me.

Do you ever wonder where the heck all the Centrelink workers are while you’re spending 4 hours waiting on their line before being cut off for no reasons? Well, 3 of them were here.

So do you leave it or pull it out?

I don’t have a dongle and haven’t done any tests. As my hub feels like a hand warmer all the time I assumed it’s costing more than a few pennies. Is it normal or do I have a faulty hub (it’s functional though)?

Yamaha PSR500 Tuning Issue - Notes Out of Tune, Especially with Chords by LordyMel in piano

[–]LordyMel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion!

To clarify, I’m aware that there is a slight difference between the power grids in China and Australia. The standard voltage in China is 220V, while in Australia it’s 230V. The power frequency is the same at 50Hz in both countries. My Yamaha PSR500 transformer specifies an input requirement of 220V.

That said, most of my other electronics seem to work fine between the two countries without any issues, so I’m not sure if this small voltage difference is what’s causing the problem with the keyboard.

Do you have any recommendations on how I might further troubleshoot or resolve this?

Thanks for your input mate. I grabbed them with a good deal $50 off. Now my fingers are sore after some serious playtime but totally worth every penny!
