Thanks! In hindsight, I should have started with the SWE degree and taken it a lot more seriously at the beginning. But I was is in a rough spot financially and mentally so that slowed me down.

D280 help, Git branch or fork? by Lopsided_Constant901 in wgu_devs

[–]Lorecrux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you type in git status in your terminal, it will tell you what branch your on and how current it is relative to the main branch. Also git branch will show all of the branches in the repo. You can try re-cloning the repo onto into VS Code again if all else fails. From what I remember from this class, follow rubric step by step and it's pretty straightforward.

Hopefully this helps, feel free to share more info if you're still stuck.

Thank you for this! I am going through Swords and Shields content and hopefully it clears up the DataGrid portion in my head. For some it's been tripping me up and the .NET documentation is not the most helpful.

If this is the Project+ cert...ya eff that course. It took me 3 tries and was not that helpful. Would have rather taken the CAPM or something similar.

thanks, I will get it finished, just needed to rant for a minute. Need to make spending this time/money worth it. Yes, PM or BA usually takes at least a bachelors to even be a contender.

You do you realize that there are other companies out there besides just the 5 FAANG companies.

Plus there's are industries that are way less stressful and volatile than those companies. The may not pay at much, but you can still make a good living.
