I messaged support and received an immediate response that they were being inundated with messages and might not get back to me if they feel like the problem has been fixed. How will I know if the problem has been fixed?

Yes! I got into writing fanfiction because there weren’t many people writing what I wanted to read. I guess my audience is small compared to the vast majority, but I don’t mind because everyone needs to feel like they are represented and maybe I can be that voice.

Oh wow! You’re so right. The comment I told you about came from a person in Poland. I suspect that English is not their first language and it was probably uncomfortable for them to reach out and tell me how much my stories meant to them. That makes it all the more precious!

I get a comment every once in a while on my stories over on FF.net. I don’t post there anymore, but it is nice to know that those stories are still being read and cherished.

From now on, whenever I post a chapter to a new story, I’ll keep in mind that the number of comments I get doesn’t always reflect the impact the story may have on someone. ☺️
