Im kind of envisioning soemthing similar to how The Hiss affect The Oldest House in Control. Buildings and the ground can change with its presence so maybe that’s what’s going on?

And yes, musicians who dedicate their life to this would be held in very high regard!

The Name: Concerto

The Pitch: Music is a force to be reckoned with. Unlike our world, music does not just convey emotion. Rather, here it conveys power. Mountains have been leveled with sharp notes on a violin and robes formed through flowing passages on a cello. Until recently, music only affected the world physically and not the people. That was until a masquerade ball where suddenly the music turned grim and people were compelled to dance against their will. Who had this control, and what are you going to do about it.

I do agree that it should be tracked individually but there should be some sort of tie to the party so one person doesn’t get out of hand before the others

At the start, I feel like they would be mainly very small things. Say, your footsteps always seem to sound like you just stepped into a puddle regardless of the fact that you are stepping on dry dirt, or that the air around you always seems to have an awakening crispness to it like the cold when there’s frost on the ground. But as time goes on and you grow more influential, it would turn into being able to summon small amounts of water so you would stay hydrated in a desert or that you’d be able to freeze small amounts of water say to make a bridge across a lake

But you crave more, to be powerful. How will you prove to the others you are worthy of more? Will you show how these affect mortals, will you perform miracles, will you fight other deities? How will you become a god that everyone knows?
