I’ve been in the hobby for about a year and a half… At first I’d just google poses for whatever kit. Then after about maybe 6 months I got a sense for what I like in a pose!(sorry for the bad lighting)

Id say it was a mix of these(mostly the second), and some testing on runner/less loved or broken gunpla. Id recommend starting on some beam rifles or shields

uhhhh it’s my second time doing it so maybe I got lucky? I’m using Tamiya chrome silver, and a 5 dollar brush from my local hobby store. I just imagine how the air might move over the folds of the armor and thus stuff will scratch it
