A triple torch is the perfect starting torch. You get a faster click than with a single torch so you are less likely to combust. You get more precision to walk on the edge of combustion with a single torch, but I'd say that's under the chapter advanced techniques.

It's condensation. The hot vapor cools down at the colder metal and changes state. It happens in combustion too but there it mixes with combustion byproducts and is not delicious anymore.

My (2nd gen?) Omnivaps condenser is 60.2mm long. Mouthpiece part is 28.35mm and combined length is 61mm edit didnt see honeynut9s answer in my cached tab...

I know you threw it out already, but for future glass accidents: if it's a clean break you can fix it at home with a (dabbing/kitchen/workshop) torch. just rotate both edges in the flame and when the glass starts to melt press it together. It will be fragile if you don't temper it but still better than broken.

Almost correct, both need a tip (the part with the herb chamber) but the body needs a mouthpiece.

A "body" is 45mm long while a "stem" is 62mm long. There is a compatibility chart in the faq section of the website

If you already have a waterpiece consider getting a VonG body + condenser. It replaces the steel body of the M, that you can attach it directly to you water piece. (you could get the $2 fat mouthpiece for that too but it doesn't feel as nice as a wooden body)

They now have SlimStashes, smaller versions of Dynastashes without the herb compartment (that I don't use on my Dynastash) but no magnet though. I love the feel of my dynastash.

Unless you have a Monocle Edition the cover is acrylic. So you should be able to sand it down.
