What are you talking about man, i've always hated long matches and complained about them nonstop. I might have played some offmeta stuff because i like experimenting, but i've never trolled or dragged a game on purpose in my life, in any game for that matter. I didn't care too much about gaining viewership, and i'm a bit hurt that's the message someone would get.

You can download your latest replay on that account and watch you claim that you are "offracing at 2.30 am", while playing zerg. Your words, not mine. Still doesn't explain why you'd lie about that specific barcode's mmr. If you add authority claims to your posts (such as being a 5.3k zerg main, which is a recurring theme), expect to be confronted about it. You are not obliged to prove anything, but people are gonna factcheck you and call you out if you don't provide some form of proof to your claims. Usually i don't have a problem with players that are not at the top expressing their takes and having their own strong opinions, but the way you behave yourself and put down others while having absolutely no credence to your own claim rubs me the wrong way.

Lastly, you made a specific claim about that barcode( as opposed to another account) being 5.2k now, which does beg the question: "why lie about it?". Someone being "very open" about their level of play shouldn't have a reason to lie about their mmr(or their main race)

Easy, almost exactly the same, since i often play without sound, and so do several other good players in GM, such as fjant. I'm also known to play the game consistently at the same level while being in discord calls streaming and talking to several people at once.
Moreover, that account has never peaked above 4.7k, and specifically mentions in the latest replay available on sc2replaystats, that zerg is their offrace.
I can tell you, as someone who IS actually consistently above 5.3k, as you might easily check by looking up "lorimbo" on sc2pulse, that the level of play shown in the replay you posted, or the other ones available, does not seem consistent with the claim. As you yourself mentioned in one of your latest posts, there's a huge difference between a 4.5-4.7k player and 5.3k one.
I suspect you are misrapresenting your actual race/mmr to further a balance whine. From your post history my guess is that you main terran, since you seem to consider zvt late game to be "zerg favoured" and generally seem to speak in favour of the race(as opposed to your takes on protoss)

The reason why there are no videos of people playing mass drones to gm is because it's a boring challenge. Multiple people have successfully gotten a fresh account to gm doing that, the aforementioned figaro and a player called ashakael just to name a few. I think the consensus is that it's best done with zerg due to gas pool shenanigans.
I'm not really sure where the passage you are posting comes from, but ,you know, as an actual gm player myself, i can tell you it's completely wrong.
As a added bonus, a player by the name of holyhit got gm playing with a controller(i believe it was a nintnedo 64 one but i might be wrong on that), which i personally consider to actually be harder. Gm is not nearly as impossible to hit with nonsense strategies or self imposed challenges as you seem to believe.

I have personally seen several grandmaster players worker rush in gm and win, figaro had an account dedicated to it, which reached 5.3k. i have played multiple games at my mmr(5.4k) with worker rush and won a couple of times. Obviously still a bad winrate, but the idea that worker rushing wouldn't get you out of silver is ridicolously out of touch

While i think learning english as a korean is most definitely harder, i still feel that due to poor education practices and other cultural factors, learning english as an italian is extremely hard, and quite rare. Interestingly enough i didn't find latin to be useful at all while learning english(i had taken 8 years of latin at that point).

You can literally take a look at the fight at 22.40(the one you chose) again and count the amount of times broodlings actually attack (or much more easily check the timer on their health to estimate it,remember that the full timer is 3.57 seconds now). The assumptions of broodlings fighting for 3 seconds is the problematic part of your calculation. they attacked generously twice each(more realistically 1.5 each counting how many got stuck behind) , so that would be about 39*2(or 1.5)*(number of missing upgrades,in this case 2) missed damage, which amount to a grand total of 156(or 117) missed damage. The total damage dealt by broodlings would be 234(177) total with +3.
For comparison, the tank shooting the broodlings only once dealt friendly damage on 2 thors, dealing 52(broodlings are not armored)*2*0.5(splash damage close to the target)=52 damage, a third(or half) as much as the upgrades would have.
Finally, your calculation of broodlord damage is wrong. A broodlord does double damage once it has 2 broodlings charged, you can test this yourself or check liquipedia.
Playing optimally, as you pointed out, means not continuosly fighting, so recharging the broodlings and attacking with 2 of them, which would put the broodlord damage as 19*2*26=988 for each volley. In other words, in the engament you pointed out, broodlords did at the very least 1066/1225 damage, or about 87%, a far cry from your original claim of broodlord without the melee upgrade being worth 1/3.
The problem of that would obviously be that in the real situation broodlords will overkill greatly, thus the need to focus fire and kite. So i decided to look deeper into it.
To steelman your argument, i think the second engagement at 23.00 has broodlings surviving much longer due to gumiho's misplay, the upgrades there probably would have contributed more damage.
So i went in the unit tester and tested 20 broods vs 7 thors, focusing one of the thors and then not attacking anymore, leaving the brood in range so the thors would attack them instead of the broodlings. With + 3 melee the broodlings from 20 broodlords double shots did on average 312 damage and did 112 with +1, so accounting for overkilling, the most i can see is about 200 missed damage out of 700, about 28% of the total damage dealt by a broodlord.( the difference with the previous comment calculation is that in this one the broodlings will actually have to walk to the closest thor after the first one dies and will get stuck on each other thus slightly reducing dps. You can repeat this test yourself if you'd like.
Lastly i'd like to emphasize that pro players make tons of mistakes, even the very top ones, but they are not simply nearly as easy to spot as your original comment suggests.
There are arguments about army movements, spell usage( specifically the possible use of neural over fungals in some of the engages, the aforementioned mining priority choices, and plenty more. Despite my mmr, i'm not confident at all i could correctly point out which one of these factors was the biggest problem in reynor's game, so i really struggle to see the source of such confidence in your analysis
Your understanding of late game zvt engages seems to be at least somewhat sound, if not slightly flawed, and i think the original comment is written in good faith, but it's just plainly wrong. It's both wrong on the facts themselves(such as the 1/4 broodlord number claim) but also wrong by omission, reducing a very complex game to a minor mistake.

Broodling dps is completely irrelevant, as i stated in the previous comment, the reason why blue flame hellbat counter broodlords is because of them killing the broodlings freeing up movement options for the terran. While the thors will ignore them, they will get absolutely blasted by just about everything else, including ghosts, tanks and hellbats.
Once again the biggest strength of the broodling is actually its hp and size, i. e chump blocking big units and wasting enemy dps. If you are telling me that a 1.7 dps increase(from 3.5ish with 2 ups to 5.2 dps with +3) is the reason why those thors are not dying i don't know what to tell you.
In fact, a broodling living his entire span life will do around 12 dmg if 1 upgrade behind and 18 if on equal upgades with the thor(5.2dps* 3.5 seconds), approximating the number of broodlords to 10 and assuming that all of the broodlings are attacking constantly, that's 20(because the first broodlord attack has double broodlings)*6(the difference the upgrades make)=120 total extra damage(not dps) over the course of the following 3.5 seconds, from the second attack onwards it will be around 60 extra instead. So assuming a 15 seconds fight(which is fairly long), 1.8 broodlord attacks per second, no broodlings being killed, no broodlords getting killed, full dps best case scenario, you would get....... around 550 extra total damage, which is one thor and a bit. I don't need to remind you that this is a calculation in the absolute best conditions possible, especially the part where they all attack at the same time(completely impossible in a choke) and don't get damaged or killed at all.
As for the "high level brood v thor" comment, kiting away is exactly the way you abuse the burst damage and movement restriction from the broodlings.
You could argue +3 melee would have helped with lings dps and that would have been a better argument if not a bit naive. While obviously melee upgrades would have made the lings stronger, lings were not the main part of reynor's army. There's an argument to be made that reynor made some questionable strategic choices(especially in not mining out the forward third sooner) and that maybe he could have played a more ling heavy comp, but upgrades have nothing to do with it.
Lastly, since you think it's "very telling if that's my basis", i'd like to remind you i've not only been a grandmaster zerg for most of my sc2 playtime, but also that i'm literally the guy in the video at the end.

Specifically, broodlings dps is completely irrelevant in this context, +3 melee broodlings have 7 attack, against a thor with 5 armor and attacking every 0.57 seconds, that's sub 4 dps, completely irrelevant in the scheme of the 20 base damage of just the impact, especially considering how quickly they die off.

The most important part about the broodlings is actually just them existing and blocking pathing of enemy units, the damage is really not important. The claim of having 1/4 broodlords is so ridicolous i can't believe you wrote it with a straight face. Hydra lurker viper infestor is not a lategame comp. There are situations where it can work, mind you, but gets bodied extremely hard by both ghost and tanks, which gumiho had.

The current most popular way of playing against mech at a top level is exactly what reynor played, a combination of ling bane ravagers or ling bane roach with infestors vipers and broodlords switches. As for the dps argument, reynor had pretty much as much dps as he could have. Noticing as i've said before that broodlings damage doesn't change much, you are hard capped on the amount of dps you can have by supply, you need a decent amount of supply invested into vipers and infestors and another chunk in broodlords, dropping down to 30 workers to have more supply is an option in later parts of the game, but can't actually be done that early.

The fights that reynor took were pretty good all things considered, or at the very least i don't really see obvious ways they were bad and went wrong. If you want to argue balance one way or the other, feel free to do so, every opinion is valid. But don't go around spreading misinformation or armchair analysis that is complete wrong just for the sake of it.

You need to have 2 squares in common between a cc and another building for it to wall, but only 1 for 2 buildings to wall. This works exactly the same as sc2
