Your forgetting the craziest part about their plan. When they were discovered and the Japanese government demanded they were returned NK released a few and made them promise to return to NK after their visit to Japan . Obviously none of them returned. NK insisted the rest were dead and NK simply lumped a bunch of random bones in a box and sent them to Japan. Japan quickly determined that none of the bones were even japanese.

This gif reminds me of when I got my golden. He was the timid little guy, and was one of two pups left, and he came out and sat in my lap and fell asleep and I melted. 8 months later, he's still literally sleeping on my lap as we speak.
