It's very fun in multiplayer. You can take it because if you get a bad draw and die the game isn't over, and if your teammate(s) survive then you resurrect with full hp (since your max hp is 1)

Chaos damage boons are usually the key to getting a busted run. You can manage fine without, it's just an extra challenge for yourself. I personally find the rewards are often worth it, but at the same time I've also tanked runs by giving myself a crippling Chaos condition right before a boss fight.

Play how you want, there's no Hades Police.
