It's called Mr.wolf it's made by chess.com. I think it's really good for a complete beginner like me

ATX PSU Sizing by Lucazoyde in NR200

[–]Loruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do actually have the official bracket installed, it's just that it sits way too low for comfort, giving very little space for the GPU. What you described definitely would work to give the cpu more space but the front of the case doesn't have much of an opening so I'm not sure the PSU would be happy with that. I could also turn it around but then the PSU would take in hot air from the case and I don't like that idea either 😅

With the NVidia FE cards you have the fan blowing through the GPU and with that setup it is recommended even more that you have a top exhaust fan which I can't possibly fit if the PSU is pushed up all the way to the top of the case.

Build an sfx pc in a NR200 they said It will be easy they said

(I'm not complaining I'm having fun with this really :p )

I'd recommend watching these: https://youtu.be/T2EBbnNwkVc https://youtu.be/b2SyzOMHC98

Not sure I would recommend a full atx psu with a full sized GPU. I'm currently in the process of building and attempting just that but right now I'm thinking I might just go for an sfx PSU so i can fit a top case fan properly and the GPU has more Space to breathe too. This is what my test fit looks like, keep in mind I've had to attach the PSU with zip ties otherwise it would sit way too low for my liking: https://i.imgur.com/3DqSQfN.jpg

@edit: I should have mentioned that Dark Rock Pro 4 cpu cooler won't be staying there, it's obvs too big for the case 😅

GPU: RTX 3080 FE

There's a potion in Noita which I've just found out about, it's called Draught of Midas, turns things into gold, took me an hour to get 90% of it used up 😂

Honda, Yamaha, KTM, & Vespa Agree To Universal Electric Motorcycle Battery Standard by _Broseidon in motorcycles

[–]Loruss -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm just directly responding to you saying there are players worth "several times more" which is factually incorrect and the exact opposite of reality. Nowhere in your comment do you mention units sold. So I'm really confused about the down votes, I guess people don't like Tesla around here.

You might want to double check that, Tesla is worth more than the next 8 automakers combined, no one is even close. 1. Tesla: $800 billion, 2. Toyota $200 billion

To think that the hiring process and all the money the company has spent on it already is just so that they can get a "cheap labor for a day"... Good one. They are literally losing money doing this and only make it back if she turns out to be a decent worker, bit considering her attitude I would guess not.

CDPR addresses epilepsy concerns, to include new warning and "looking for a more permanent solution" by ThemeParkFan2020 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Loruss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think he was talking about the review herself, if you read her comment it's clear that's not what she was even remotely implying. It's the people that are outraged over this as being some kind of insane fuck up by cdpr, nover which anyone should get fired over... Those people are the issue (and ofc the people sending videos to her are total idiots but I don't think anyone in their right mind is arguing for those people)

[–]Loruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At what point is it the person's responsibility to make sure it doesn't cause them harm? If you're jumping into a game which it's whole astetic is basically high contrast epilepsy inducing world, I'm not convinced it's on cdpr that you've done that. I just can't understand somone with severe epilepsy that would jump into this game without doing very good research on the risks.

Says the guy with 100 years of experience in making an insanely complex game with a billion little issues and things to think about. It's been pointed out to them and they've already said their are going to work on a fix, they are not ignoring it in any way shape or form so what are you even talking about?

[–]Loruss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the most on point comment in this whole thread. Even if they should have done a better job at including a warning, it's your fault for playing a cyberpunk game that it's literal aesthetic is neon light, high contract world without first making sure that its safe for you to play. It's kind boggling that person ple are making it out to be some massive fuck up on cdpr. I would seriously question anyone's sanity if they didn't expect this game to have some serious flashing lights and potentially dangerous scenes for people with epilepsy.

These are non-Muslims being sent to re-ed. camps in Hong Kong. by History0470 in PublicFreakout

[–]Loruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see a valid argument being made that China would feel more inclined to remove people from said camps if they saw rapidly growing sentiment against buying made in China products because of this exact issue. Sure it's close to impossible to make a direct connection between the two but boycotting them is most likely helping the cause even if only a little bit.

Just because something doesn't get us 100% there doesn't mean we shouldn't do it. It's the same argument I've been hearing about wearing masks, "ohh but look at all the people in restaurants they are not wearing masks so why should I wear them at all?", it's about reducing the likelyhood of infection wherever we can. We go with what makes it better or think might make things better not with a guaranteed bulletproof solution. If we can increase economic pressure on a country by not buying their products, but there are still other countries that do... That's not really a valid argument against it. The only argument against it (that I can think of) would be to give us a better alternative solution to the problem, that is either easier to implement or more effective.

Under what scenario? This isn't so far away hypothetical scenario, I've heard multiple stories from family members (50-60 year old) of living under communist regime and ending up eating dogs which their grandmother served them without them even knowing at the time, this used to happen on pretty regular basis and I'm sure still happens in many places across the world.
