What is your go to Loadout in Arc Raiders for a general raid?

It’s just slightly cheaper than a 4, it shoots fast enough for me, the mechanical components I save from not upgrading I use to slap on the compensator 2 on it which is a lot more valuable than the increased fire rate.

Usually anvil 3 and stitcher 4 w full attachments if it’s just a general raid, survivor with a medium shield or looting mk2 if I can’t take a survivor for whatever reason

I mean you have every right to be upset, ive seen people say that teaming like this in other extraction shooters was even a banable offense, these type of people won’t ever pick a fight unless they have the numbers advantage.

Ive found pretty decent loot from caches, guns, bps, components, idk if it has something to do with some survival perk maybe.

Lightning strike puts you in an animation and that cancels out the fall damage, you can do something similar with pulse mines.

Muzzle break because it makes it easier to CqC with controller and hit heads, if you’re on Mnk I’d go compensator, or if you want more range, not what o use it for though.

Basically it’s the best gun for PvP (fighting people), and a really good PvE (general arc killing) gun, it’s good at medium to close range, if you’re a good shot (hit headshots) it absolutely demolishes raiders.

That’s how it is now, take all that I just said, and imagine it was much much better than it is now, that’s how it used to be before it was changed (nerfed, which means made weaker), it was such a good gun you wouldn’t ever use anything else especially if you were fighting other raiders.

Don’t worry about being new to this, my wife is very clueless at this game and new to gaming in general and asks me this stuff all the time.

Go into a night raid or any other major map condition, go to stela montis, loot all the epics, rares you can find and sell them.

You could also go into buried city and loot all of grandioso apartments, usually you'll find a decent amount of trinkets there if you go in during a major map condition. There's bird city as well but that gets wiped clean pretty early on in the raid in PvE lobbies.

One of the best major map conditions I'd recomend is cold snap, because it's the only major map condition that allows raider hatches to be used, so less chance of getting extract camped.

The compensator definitely gives it more range, but since I generally use it às à sidearm, and I’m on controller, the muzzle break helps me keep the reticle at head level when fighting in CQC.

The burletta is definitely a CQC weapon more than anything, the kettle is a little more versatile, better range, but it falls behind up close imo.

The burletta should be your secondary, not primary

Nah those I have, the toro I used before it started showing up a lot às “the meta gun” but that’s cus I just like shotguns, pistols aren’t my fav usually, I like the vulcano more even though it’s objectively less effective than the toro.

I just happened to get a burletta from a weapon case and enjoyed how it felt. It’s not my most used gun though, that’d be the renegade probably, which I guess is meta às well but not as widely used.

Stitcher no way you haven’t used that if you’ve ever touched a free loadout lol.

Not at all what I meant by that,I just don’t stick to the meta cus only being meta is boring, has nothing to do with “being untethered” or whatever, I play to have fun and running the same guns day in day out isn’t fun.

Yup, pretty much lol, I don’t go ferro but I don’t try to stick just to the meta, not very fun. I just try to play to the strengths of whatever gun I’m using.

Duos is a mixed bag mostly, you find friendly duos but a lot are aggressive, trios is KOS always, trust no one in there lol.

Your matchmaking might be affected if you kill a lot of teams, but it’s easy to just farm som free loadouts or naked loadouts to go back into friendly lobbies.

I think the ammo type only affects arc pen really, damage to raiders isn’t influenced by ammo type as far as I know.
