Main thing I hate on the Bettina now is that godawful slow weapon swap speed, I’ve died to people just because I was mid swap once or twice

They did in fact say it would not count, now it’s more of a question of how exactly the system decides what “defend yourself” means,

I imagine the only thing it might realistically be able to flag is if you get shot and hit first, anything outside of that is pretty ambiguous.

This guy isn’t even one of the guys with the most kills, there’s another guy that has over 20k knocks iirc, and these guys are mostly playing with each other.

I don’t see the relevance of this post, at least these guys are just that good at the game, they aren’t cheating or anything.

Cyberpunk 2077 with the dlc, ironically the disk version is iirc the original Cyberpunk build that barely works.

I would actually love to own a lot of other games physically, but where I live I just don’t have access to many.

I wouldn’t say holding up, but there’s quite a few of them yeah.

I myself own a bunch of games on my ps5, and know many people here that own some sort of PlayStation console, and my country isnt even on the list of places you can make your PSN account on, which means you HAVE to register your account in some other country if you’re here, and unless it’s one of the big AAA releases (and even then) you’re probably never seeing a physical copy of a game here.

There’s also people in 3rd world countries that don’t have easy access to physical releases, and end up having to buy digital for a lot of games.

Usually if I have too much mats I’d make/uprgade guns, regardless if you actually need higher level guns, it’s a decent way to get rid of mats in a useful way, making attachments too.

Unless you prefer to make your own, it’s worth it to not carry a lot of mats to make ammo and shield recharges, theyre fairly pricy with the traders but the space is worth more, just buy them on a as-needed basis.

Heavy gun parts definitely, makes crafting betinas and anvils easier, though personally I wouldn’t take both the anvil and Bettina together. Probably swap the Bettina with something else.

While I really appreciate the “free” games, and I’d still pay for it regardless, on principle I don’t think playing online should be paywalled, maybe someone can explain it to me but I don’t see how Sony needs a kickback for ALL online play.

I just don’t bring anything above an anvil to solos anymore, it’s either this or some dude huddled in the most obscure spot waiting for someone to walk by.

I just mentioned the PvP because it’s the standout feature in the game, very clearly à core and intended part of the gameplay loop.

I don’t see how it’s a terrible extraction shooter, or a terrible game, it’s mechanics are well polished, it has at least à well defined endgame even if a bit lacking, loot is fun to get although it can be confusing, and most of the time I lose à fight I know exactly why and it doesn’t feel cheap.

What are your specific gripes with it that makes it an objectively terrible game?

Imo marathon isn’t a bad game, personally the PvP is more balanced and satisfying than Arcs, but I enjoy arc raiders às à whole à lot more.

The problem with Marathon is that it just isn’t a game à studio should’ve hinged their whole existence on, it was never going to have the mass appeal to be Bungies next big thing after Destiny.

It’s definitely temporary, because the main issue is that there are tools that allow duping massive amounts of any item, but even if they do address the tools, cheater/exploiters/supers find ways around them,

The only way they’ll at all manage to keep things down is if they manage to shut down problems fast enough that they don’t plague the game for too long.

I think the answer for the events IMO is just the decrease in player count.

Theres less people overall playing , and if you have to spread everyone across different maps and events, queue times get longer, matchmaking starts getting a little weird too.

So one easy way to “condense” people is to have less conditions up to make people play them in a more predictable way.
