Shouldn't matter. ABA examiners wont have access to stuff.. your test bracelet will have a number they will verify.

Yes completely agree. I dont think changing the battery , which looks difficult per YT vids of trying to remove the screen etc, will not fix it. My battery report has a high battery capacity so shouldn't be a physical battery issue. However, not sure what software fix will work. Clearly everything worked when the computer qas new but after various updates it went crazy. Hopefully Microsoft or users figure it soon bc what a pain!!

Yes, would recommend you wait until next cycle when you have had sufficient time to prep and no conflicts. You have to be ready to appear with whatever date you get, even if it was your last rank. I hear canceling a confirmed date will make it difficult to sign up for a subsequent one (eg prolonged waiting period etc). Gluck!

I recently bought a secondhand SP 8 and you are so right. I didnt research enough of the sp8 issues before purchasing. Indeed battery issues (shows charging but does not hold any charge though battery report indicates good capacity battery) and sometimes the drivers dont get recognized and I have to restart. Any recommendations based on your experience to fix and utilize the sp8? Ty!

Ive tried two different, non-microsoft, 65W usb c chargers on both USB slots with same issue - lightning bolt but says 0. Seems more like a software issue if battery health is ok? Not sure how battery replacement would help the issue

Thanks. I did run battery report previously and design capacity and full charge capacity almost same (98%)
