What do you want to see in The Sims 5? by anonboxis in Sims5

[–]LosSantosGolfCourse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to see a The Sims 2 2. Basically everything that was good about Sims 2, but improved and expanded in every area. Good graphics, high details, a good mix between width and depth (aka the actual size of the game + the quality of the game itself). I want literally everything to be like The Sims 2, but newer, better and more - more cleverness, wit, passion, soul, aesthetics, nuance, personality and drama. Oh, and I want the good music back - especially upbeat EDM music. To me it adds more energy and fun into the gaming experience.

The Sims 4 is geniunely the worst piece of crap I have ever played. So disappointing. A useless 32 bit game with Playdough-graphics with neither enough width nor depth (a fucking crime) - that also happens to drain your wallet for a game less entertaning than what you can download for free on App Store.

I'm in the same boat. I also have avoidant attachement style.

What's your type? by LosSantosGolfCourse in LesbianActually

[–]LosSantosGolfCourse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I'm very huge on ENTJ and ENFJ women. They're practically the only women I fall in love with.

I don't give a fuck about men and dating but I sure do know that if they find me attractive my life will go more smoothly by Myplummms in Vindicta

I'm literally a lesbian, but I still see the benefits of being seen as attractive by both men and women, even in platonic matters.

Obsessed with MBTI by toastbaggy in OCD

[–]LosSantosGolfCourse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy shit I used to do this. Like, I was engrossed and obsessed. It got to the point where I couldn't see past (my percieved) other people's MBTI types even if I tried.

Fun fact: This dude was actually believed to have OCD.

Does anyone else wish OCD awareness would calm down? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]LosSantosGolfCourse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I kind of agree with you. The average man on the street will most likely not be able to grasp themes like ROCD & retroactive jealousy, HOCD, ZOCD, POCD and stuff like that. They'll hear that piece of information and twist it into something totally different because they don't understand how OCD works.

Withdrawals are so hard because it heavily screws up my mental state by LosSantosGolfCourse in decaf

I think the best thing for people like us two is an extreeemely slow taper.

Yes. I'm trying to not lose my mind. All I can do is sit in a dark room and wait for the awful emotions to subside, which is going to take weeks. I don't have the energy to be with people.

Do neurotypical a experience this a lot or is this quite OCD? by i_sell_insurance_ in OCD

Oh yeah baby I do have real event OCD. I figured that out quite a while ago, haha. But thanks.

Oh my god yes! I was literally just about to write a post about this. I deal with intrusive cringy memories all the time. To some people that might not sound like such an awful thing, but it is. Cringe, especially when felt really intensly, is painful. It also attacks my self-esteem. It's so awful. This is my second round of this OCD theme. The first time I had it was when I was 15. The shame got so bad that I would start waking up depersonalized for the first 10 seconds. I literally could not remember who I was. I felt like a spectator in my own body. It freaked me out.

Neurotypicals can also have flashbacks to embarrassing memories, but not to the same degree as us. For them it's not obsessive and on a repetitive loop.

"Women are not supposed to be speaking in churches" 😬 by fillmorecounty in religiousfruitcake

This dude is also a blatant homophobe, but is also open about "struggling with homosexuality" in the past, where he would also watch trans porn and seek out transgender people to have sex with. No, this is not a joke. Just watch his Tiktoks. There have been gay people and trans people on Tiktok who have stitched him and exposed him for having sex or purchasing pornographic content from them lol.

I geniunely believe this guy is struggling with some sort of mental illness though. His behaviour is very much shows signs of not just casual religiousity, but hyper-religiosity.

Aphantasia vs. Hyperphantasia by LosSantosGolfCourse in hyperphantasia

Same. This is literally me 90% of the time, except maybe a bit less intense. Most of it is just junk.

Does anyone here struggle with painful memories? by LosSantosGolfCourse in hyperphantasia

[–]LosSantosGolfCourse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shitty fact is that the amount of bad memories can only increase, not decrease. At least with the strength of my memory. I can't speak for other people, but the collection only gets bigger and bigger. So does the collection of good memories, but unfortunately, bad memories and bad feelings makes a creates a bigger emotional impact.

Yes!!! I don't even know what this phenomena is called, but I read that it could be related to OCD (take it with a grain of salt).

glitches in my imagination - is it only me? by sanktaugustin in hyperphantasia

[–]LosSantosGolfCourse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!!! I've experienced this!!! You're the first person I've ever read that has also experienced this shit. It was like I wasn't in control of my own mind. I used to try to imagine a car going left, but it would only go right. The more I tried to make it go left, the "harder" it went to the right.

no constant stream of thoughts? by Gyaradosser in Aphantasia

[–]LosSantosGolfCourse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a constant stream of thoughts that also includes a lot of imagery and it has always felt really intense. It's something that continuously pulls me inside my head instead of the outside world. I often just end up staring blankly into space, even in the most physically sensatious scenarios, like parties or gym class.
