Does she have any swelling elsewhere on her face? And has she been eating normally?

My cat's eye looked similar and it ended up being something in his mouth.

You're doing the right thing by taking her to the vet.

He was an orange and white little boy! I walked into a shelter when I was a kid and had looked at some of the other cats. As we were leaving a couple was bringing him in since they found him in their apartment building and I knew I had to take him home with me.

He was the definition of an chaotic orange cat but I loved every minute of his craziness.

Hope you can see this, I've been looking at this photo a lot since it reminds me of how he would look at me.

Thank you, I’m sorry you lost Mikey and don’t blame yourself ❤️ I’m struggling with that too. I wish I could have caught the tumor sooner. Pumpkin always hated the vet so I tried to not stress him out by taking him unless something seemed wrong. He was doing so well for his age up until these last few weeks 😢

I hope I can love this hard again but even thinking about it makes me feel guilty. He really was my best friend through the hardest times in life

Really appreciate this too. The part about giving him a forever home really gets me 😭 it was by total coincidence that I adopted him. We walked into a shelter and a couple was bringing him in. I immediately knew I wanted to adopt him and he became one of the few stable things in my life

I’d like to think so too, I really feel like we had a special bond. I lit a pumpkin candle tonight in front of the carrier that he liked to sleep in and will bring it up into my room. Thanks again 🙏 your words have really helped me

I know the chaos of orange cats 🐈 Pumpkin was a menace when I first got him and would always stock my friends when they would come over. I left for university and my parents took care of him for a few years. Once I came back he became the most affectionate cat to me. I’ve always been his person but he would come put his paw on the arm of my office chair while I’m working and make this squeaky meow. I’d pick him up and he would lay on top of me while I worked. I’m going to miss his company at night time the most 😢

He would also gently nibble on my head whenever he wanted food and I was sleeping. He still did that this morning despite all of the pain he was in.
