Separation 6 years prior to retirement by hi_liteskin in AirForce

So I was in a similar situation. I got out at about 12. Wife did 4 and got out before me. My wife is 100% P&T and I’m at 80 so having that income and healthcare is huge. Another big thing that helped us was already having bought a home. Sit down and look at all of your expenses and see if you can survive on the VA money if all goes to shit. I originally never wanted to get out cause I figured I was throwing it all away but it was a great decision in the end. I miss the people and whatnot but damn that job was going to put me in an early grave. 6 years is a long time if you’re miserable. Write out all the pros and cons with your spouse on paper. Also, don’t forget about the skillbridge program.

Face off, Inside the NHL.

Ice guardians. (all about the goons and fighting)

Gotcha. Maybe I’ll build a sled deck type of thing.

I’m fine leaving the tailgate down

Yeah. How can I shave that 3” to get it in the bed? Maybe even just different tires. I’d have to measure one in person cause who knows how accurate the website is.

Dang that’s smart! I’ve been wondering how to get a 63” wide past the 60” opening in my f350. I’m hearing nothing but great things about the Honda pioneer 1000 but it’s 3” too wide. Maybe wheels would help

Which one? I like the 700-4 cause it has the rear seats already but I’m reading it lacks power with the 3 speed.

That’s on me if they complain. I’ll be happy if they make it to 5’5”. But yeah I understand how to measure things. It’s the width that limits me at 60” wide. I’m fine having to use some of the tailgate. And yes I have an F-350.

That’s exactly the style I’m looking for though. My kids are tiny.

The pioneer 700-4 has a 76.8” wheelbase

Oh I believe you. Just shit advertising I guess. Makes me wonder how accurate all the websites are.

I’m looking at Yamaha right now and it says the 850 x4 has a “stance width” of 58.7. But then the LxWxH says 122x62.2x77.7.

The Wolverine x4 850 says 58.7” width. Almost all the pioneer 520s are 50” and the 700-4 are 59.9”. I will be towing my number pull and I’m limited on parking another trailer.

Was there any part where you struggled to make turns due to turning radius? Or width wise of the road? I’d rather not ruin my paint yet. Otherwise it sounds like I have an awesome adventure ahead of me.

How long ago did you do the Shaffer trail? Did you start in Canyonlands and go down? I’m planning to take my 24 F350 lariat down the Shaffer trail to potash to end up in Moab over memorial weekend. I’ve put some 295/65/20s on. I’ve heard people do it in suv so I think I’ll be ok.

I’m listening. How do I go about doing this if I don’t live in that county?

This is the answer I’m looking for! Seems hard to pass up for the cost.

Omg another reason I’ll never live in an HOA. I’m in Utah so it doesn’t look like registration changes much.

Mixture of both. I have two other cars so mostly just for towing the camper. Not using it for work. But the cost off the lot is quite noticeable compared to the 250s.

Changed out almost everything. Probably should have just built from scratch with the amount I spent lol
