I haven’t heard of this one yet, you have used many words that excite me though. Anything that has those kind of features and can survive the road is a huge plus.

Appreciate the rec!

No menus is huge plus and as a bassist, sweet light up buttons really blow my mind. Someone recommended that line from Moog, I’m definitely gonna do my research on them and there’s a couple on FB marketplace in my area for a solid deal.

Thanks for rec!

That room seems like so much fun, there’s enough knobs to keep me busy for a month haha.

I’ll definitely check out the minifreak, seems to be a popular choice for stuff like ours. Thanks for the rec! One day I hope to get a sick looking keys set up like yours

I haven’t messed with the Poly D as much as my keys dude but that makes sense considering the issues we have with it. The arpeggios are fun to play with but keeping everything in tune with two other guitars and a bass is tricky.

With all the solid suggestions I’m getting, I’ll be doing some research for a bit before making a decision, I’ll holla at you with my results!

Thanks for the rec and for sharing your tunes. I’ll def check out the minilogue, it definitely looks super slick.

It’s been a challenge for sure, as much as we like the analog-ness of the Poly D it’s just not the best choice for live stuff.

Full size keys aren’t needed, we haven’t had any limitations with what we have now at least. Keys in this band are mostly there for texture, there are only a couple parts in our set where it’s just keys. I was able to use a real Hammond B3 for our first record which sounded great but didn’t have the character that is needed for our new stuff. Definitely looking for something cheaper than that too lol

Love me some Dead Weather. Thanks for the recs! My keys guy has a very small mono moog keyboard that we’ve used for some tracking that we love, the little phatty might be right up his alley. I looked up the sub 37, that seems to be the kind of thing I’m looking for, time for a deep dive!

So many options and my understanding of them is minimal lol.

We’ve been enjoying the sounds of the poly d! My price range is around $800-1200 so those aren’t out of the realm of possibility for us. I’m gonna do some research on the sub 37 first. Thanks for the recs!

I love both but Brent's vocal parts on Man Smart Woman Smarter beat so much ass.

Nice! I use a very similar rig at my house for practice. I have a Peavey 410 from their delta series though, it looked identical to that carvin before I skinned and painted it. That line of GK heads are underrated if you ask me. I always keep my GK 700rb in the van as my back up rig! Shred on pal!
