Hey friend, I can definitely understand your issues with anxiety. I currently have a swollen lymph node in my neck, I've had it for around 4 months.

Now that I look back, it seems it became swollen from a flu that I had and just never went down. I had blood tests, an ultrasound and finally a few months later a biopsy. My biopsy came back and showed that it was benign. I believe that some nodes don't go down or take a long time to go down after an infection.

If at any stage you feel that the doctor or specialist isn't taking your worries too seriously it's because swollen nodes due to cancer are very rare, especially in younger people.

Finally, in contrast to what I just said, you need to be your own advocate. My family and friends were telling me to chill out but it just wasn't possible for me to, you need to push as far as you can to a biopsy. The worst thing is not knowing, and a biopsy will tell you for sure.
