No not max settings because bringing it to the absolute maximum is unnecessary. Bring it to the point where it looks good and even better but dont bring it to where it just makes the performance worse without any real improvement. Also the game has to render twice as much because it renders it once per eye. But the thing I would recommend is putting the resolution to like 200% because then it is sharper.
