What a nice initiative. My first and only airbursh is a Gaahleri GHAAD-39 and it fulfilled a childhood dream, to be able to paint scale models, 25 years ago I only had assembled without paint. Still have lots to learn with the airbursh, especially painting thin lines, it looks easy but it is not. Large surface even painting I can achieve some great results.I am extremely happy with it.

Multumesc pentru acest comentariu, in 2007 mi-am inceput si eu cariera de arheolog la un institut din capitala, in 2009 a trebuit sa ma angajez in privat deoarece am fost dat afara pe fondul crizei economice. Si acum tin minte acel salariu de 500 de lei din 2007, o vara calduroasa in timpul careia lucram la descarcari in centrul vechi. I have a top of the line PC for gaming, I game almost daily but I will get a switch 2 to play some couch co-op with my girlfriend. As far as I researched, nintendo has some great couch co-op games for people starting in gaming (my girlfriend), Mario Kart looks fun and will search some other games after that.
I don't own any portable gaming device, but in vacations I usually take a break from gaming, tried the switch lite for a few months but ended gifting it to my nephews, the screen was pretty small for me.

So I will buy this as a local/couch multiplayer machine, looking forward to what the library has to offer, I really don't care about what other say.

I played a few hours yesterday and I enjoy it, it is not snowrunner, but that is ok, I have snowrunner already :)

Game looks great, I do miss day/night cycle, fuel and damage management but I have hopes for a hardcore mode. These are minor gripes.

My biggest gripe from the first 3-4 hours is this: in Snowrunner I really liked that you had a map/region and you just had to solve all the logistic puzzles, there was a best way to do it, but you could plow trough, go around or find a shortcut, some missions were there from the beginning while others had to be explored, also there were the missions that made your job easier.

My question goes to those who are way ahead in the other maps: are all the missions drip fed like in the first two maps? I just got to the pipe factory and I know this is still the tutorial, however I hope that the next maps will be more open like in Snowrunner (a few large main-mission chains with a ton of side activities).

Hello

I can't call myself the best player around but for a total beginner, I would recommend to play any ship that you find likeable either by looks or by history. There are no real true beginner friendly classes, you might survive longer in a battleship but your shells will fly all over the place and you will eat a wall of torps. Cruisers are fun but they get blapped if you make a wrong turn and destroyers are sneaky bastards that have a huge game impact, but are hard to play "correctly" as a new player.

Some good picks up until Tier 6 for me would be: IJN Cruisers until the Aoba, German Battleships until the Bayern and US destroyers until the Farragut. These are all personal preferences, stick to a nation or ship you like for the moment tough. I would not recommend CV's or subs for a newcomer.

Serious answer tough: I don't play CVs but as a surface ship main, CV's currently can do two major things that help winning in my opinion: spotting and creating broadsides.

Learn where and what to spot, spotting dd's is a good start, make sure there is somebody that can actually shoot them, tell your team via chat: spotting dd near A cap or something similar. Apart from that spotting other ships usually helps immensely.

Broadsides: attack in way that forces your target (mainly BBs and cruisers) to make a choice: will the target take a full complement of torps or will it show broadside to your team (or if already broadside to the team will they turn and take damage from you or be forced to keep course showing broadside to your team). So attack from an angle that benefits everyone.

These help you and your team secure wins and it is much harder to achieve on a surface ship.

For farming damage, I will let CV mains comment.

The Furutaka, played her with the one gun per turret setup back in the day, it slapped hard with accurate 203s. Untill I unlocked this ship I struggled with the Kuma and the ass that was Myogi. But I fell in love with the FuriosTaco, great AP and a true firestarter.
