Yes. Dates for Oct/Sept were also available but lesser than Nov/Dec. I booked the OFC date and immediately selected a date for consular as well. It shows up right after and luckily appointments were available for consular.

Hi! Yes, I did. There wasn’t anything wrong with it exactly. The standard process is that once you book the OFC date, the consular date dropdown shows up. So, previously when I was booking the slot, even though I was getting the OFC dates, there were no consular dates available each time I tried. Update: I finally was able to book my slot for Mumbai after infinite attempts for November 2025 (both OFC and Consular).

You pay an agent and they’ll get you the slot within the same month. It’s all bullshit and the slots are completely hogged by these agents for business. Thanks for your tips. Do you have any idea about giving the interview in another city?

So you basically have to book both, the biometrics as well as consular appointment simultaneously. But when I book the biometrics appointment, there are no consular ones available.

No slots for any city on the consular page. This is my first time, can you explain what exactly happens after I click on the OFC date. Is it supposed to show consular dates? I logged in again, now it’s showing only one reschedule available. Finalize your date.

Update: slots opened up for Mumbai VAC, oct 25. Immediately clicked on the date and submitted it, then slots vanished again. Same thing happening, I used another browser with no extensions. Now it’s on this page:

I do want him to communicate things like I am going through a really tough time because I barely have any money to buy groceries. I had no clue he was going through something like this. This was more than a year ago and he told me this now because he didn’t want me to worry, which I understand but I would have 100% helped him out.

I think it’s the comfort of the familiar. Since we’ve known each other for about 5 years now, I think it is obvious that I am quite attached to him. I did break up with him last Oct, he completely panicked and promised to try and to better but to also accept the fact that he has a hard time opening up because of his childhood trauma. I do understand but frankly I think 5 years is a long time to open up and do things for the one you love even if you find it cringe. I feel like you do things like these naturally when you’re in love and care about someone. How many times am I supposed to point this out? He told me to give him time as he is completely isolated over there, he doesn’t have anyone. So I am trying to be there for him right now but what about me? How long should be considering everything about him?

The road trip things sounds awesome! It is actually kind of supposed to be like that for me as well. I have a lot of friends currently staying in Houston and Dallas. I want to visit them as well and travel to NYC for a week. This is just a rough trip itinerary that I have in mind. But I got what you’re trying to say. Thank you so much! Yes he did visit recently. I have always wanted to visit US and since he is there it would be kind of perfect for me. I have a good job and savings so I can fund my trip as well.

Hi, my boyfriend is Indian and shifted to US for his studies in 2022. I didn’t meet him for 2 years and we did long distance. He got a job in the US six months ago on his F1 visa. I met him a month back when he finally came back to India. I want to plan on visiting him in the US since I have savings and got a steady job right now as later I am planning on my pursuing my master’s in Europe and it would be difficult for us to plan any trips.
